Steph over at Serenity Now! Serenity Now! has tagged me with a meme. It's The Completely Honest meme. I am supposed to list 10 things about myself that I've never told anyone. This is me being honest:
- Many, many years ago I forgot I had a green mask on my face, I answered the door, talked with some kid about paper delivery and I didn't know I still had the mask on. I was so embarrassed when I saw myself in the mirror later.
- Every once in awhile after my shower I will go check my emails in the nude! (side note: my office is right off our bedroom/bath, didn't want you thinking I go around nude in my house!)
- I have a terrible memory for names. I have been known to go the other directions in a store because I spot someone and don't remember their name. (it's worse if someone is with me because I could never introduce them not knowing their name)
- When I was going through my divorce I was on the phone with a friend and my daughter was crying, wouldn't take her nap. She cried for a long time. When I went up to check on her she was actually hanging with her leg caught in the strap of a toy that hung across her crib. I never left her crying again! (sorry honey)
- I will actually gag or throw up if I see boogers.
- I never read the paper or watch the news.
- I get all of my medical tests done because I have to go to the doctor to get my asthma medications each year but I can't get myself to go to the dentist.
- When I smoked I use to step on the butt of the cigarette and then picked it up to put it in the trash. I still feel guilty for the few I didn't pick up.
- When my son was 6 he had gotten ill throwing up all over the top bunk, down the ladder, on the area rug, all over the toilet and all over the shower curtain. (I was a single mom at the time) I threw him in the shower and said if you ever do that again I will kill you. (sorry honey)
- I never feel worthy of compliments. (Gee maybe I just figured that one out!)

Holy honest tag Batman! I really enjoyed reading this. Your son throwing up all over the place would make me puke, too...and the deal with the dentist, you sound just like my husband!

great tag.. i love these... and i too HATE, HATE boogers... and it makes me shudder when someone blows their nose around me.. YUCK!!
Kids cry - it happens and sometimes its' because they've gotten into a jam. Ahhh, such is life. It looks like your kids made it through so far :)
I haven't been to the dentist in quite awhile myself.

WOW, don't know if I have any secrets I haven't told anyone about. I would have to think long and hard about that one.
Love how you like me hate the dentist. It is the last and final resort that will bring me to them. You would think I would know better but after all this time, their technology hasn't changed much.

Hey Deb, I posted last night about those 'no reply' emails. One person went in to her comments section and added her email address, and it still shows up 'no reply.' Did you ever figure this out?
