no it's not Dallas! Actually Debby did some cooking which if you know me is a HUGE deal. I have been getting inspired by reading all of the delicious recipes I find on your blogs. I just haven't been in the mood for several years now, only doing the Holidays and some other special occasion's during the year.
I also did some baking. It's from a box but it was still awesome.
Head on over to Live.Love.Eat and check out this recipe. I love her recipes and she also gives them in a printable form. Love that because you can't really print out recipes with all the pictures posted.
I baked these in the oven instead of frying. About 35 minutes on 350. They were really good. I didn't use the marinara like she suggested but next time I will.
My new slow cooker (never had one before) and my new cookbook. Go on over and visit Stephanie O'Dea's Blog and see what I made.

Ok you are making me hungry ! And making me really think I need that cookbook! I LOVE putting stuff in the crockpot - then coming to work and when I get home...DINNER IS READY! :) It's a great feeling! LOL!
(Yes, it's the little things.)
I want to come to your house this week for dinner....
Everything looks delicious! And what you plan on making sounds delicious too! My tummy is growling! LOL! :-)
I love finding good recipes on blogs. I always feel inspired like I can actually make the recipe if I know the blogger could do it.
See Debby I knew we would get you back to baking :). Love it!
Ohh love that book, I get to give one away. I'm so sad I don't have one for myself. They only sent me one ;(. Her site is great I love all the recipes. I can't wait to show it off next week!
Check you OUT!! The food looks fabulous! My pup eats carrots, too, strait from the garden, if I let her.
Just stumbled onto your blog. Totally love it! The dog didn't look too thrilled about the carrot though. Cute!
Love your pictures, the food looks delish, I'm going to have to link over to the cookbook as soon as I'm done enjoying more of your posts.

I have made those drop biscuits before. They are good, aren't they?
Now that I know I can make that recipe in the oven like you did, I'm going to do it! Those look delicious!
Wow! When you DO decide, you go all out! My pups LOVE their carrots- they have 2 every morning!
I'm not sure how you have lived this long without a crock pot! You can put a chicken in in the morning with a little lemon pepper on it (no water) and that night have a yummy supper!
You have been busy! Looks yummy!
But what? No cookies for bowling tomorrow? ;-)
You have certainly been busy in the kitchen...yum yum!
Look at you go! :) I have never heard or seen pumpkin cobbler before - I'm intrigued!
