I don't know what is with me, my tree is up but I just haven't felt like decorating it! I wait all year for Christmas......Maybe it's because I was exhausted from Thanksgiving or because I really like to play Christmas music really loud and nothing but football has been on all weekend!! (nothing wrong with football, it just doesn't get me in the mood) First I have to remove myself from this computer! So I finally did a few Christmas cards today and put away some of the Thanksgiving decorations. Put some Christmas tablecloths on the tables just trying to get a spark of enthusiasm. So hopefully in the near future I will be able to show you Christmas at my house. As you can see Skye is already wearing her holiday PJ's!

I so need to get my tree down and up. I usually do it this weekend but just haven't gotten to it :(. I need to remove myself from the computer too ;)
I am like you - I love Christmas and I cannot wait to get everything up but it is alot of work!
I think the older I get the harder it is to get moving - so to speak ha ha - but once I get it done I love it!
I am sure you just need to get your mojo going!!

I have been sitting at this computer for the past three days, editing photos. My Christmas decorations are all in a garage I have about 10 miles from where I live. I usually get over there near the middle of December. Then I keep my little tabletop pre-lit tree up until after valentines day because I love the lights.

I usually am like that but I guess this year w/ a new baby in the house it made me get with it. I do have my tree up and presents wrapped but that's not usually my style, LOL. I think your doing fine. Take your time :)

My tree sat there for a week without ornaments. I finally put them on over the break. I think it's overwhelming to me because we have so stinking many of them.

My sister called me yesterday to tell me she wasn't into the Christmas spirit this year and didn't even want to put a tree up. After church her hubs put in the Josh Groban Christmas cd and voila! She called me after and said "okay, I'm ready!"

I need to get motivated too. My tree and all the decorations are still in their boxes, which I have at least pulled out of storage. I figure if I keep tripping over them, I'll find my motivation....:)
Christmas is my favorite holiday. Time with family and friends. Baking, decorating, and making candy. But every year I get a later and later start at it. To the point my husband has called me scrooge. I wonder sometimes if it's because the older we get we began losing ones that are close to us and we dread the holidays.
She is just too cute! I love that little face! You'll get around to it. You still have 23 days to decorate your tree before it's too late! :)
I have an idea, tell us about your oraments? As you put them on, say in "sets" like if you use yearly ones or Colors or themes? or have more then one tree? come on we want to hear? did you put up a small tree for Skye?
For whatever reason I think the change of seasons this year has really tanked a lot of people. MY hubs is having a hard time getting into winter as well. Me, i'm ready in August for thanksgiving to come and Christmas to follow. :) But that's me every year. We will do our tree first chance hubs has a day off. I can't wait. I too have a tree up and no decorations. The putting up the tree is the hardest part I think! Now I have a box of decorations sitting beside it...I think I'll get it done by the end of the week. I just stop and put a few decorations on at a time as I go about the busy day.
I love the new look on your blog. I really love the cups of with the drinks. Skye is way cute. We get out tree this Saturday then it will be my turn.

Awww... I love her holiday PJ's! It's kinda early to get your tree up, isn't it? I mean, it's not even December yet! Or, maybe that's just because I'm too busy procrastinating to get my own of the basement..... ;-)
Having the kids listening and singing Christmas songs has really helped me. If you want I can call you have them sing to you too.
