That looks wonderful! Our Mothers of Preschool group is participating, so I have the shoebox but I still need to go shopping. Hopefully I'll get it done this weekend!

I coordinated Operation Christmas Child for my church for many years before Nate died. I haven't been able to do any "extra" stuff the past 18mo. The GRIEF sucks me dry. But it is wonderful and I've even worked at the warehouse in Santa Ana for several years. It's amazing to see hundreds of thousands of shoe boxes! It's really overwhelming and it still touches my heart.

Our church participates in this every year. It truly is a blessing to every child to open these wonderful boxes filled with love and the word of God.

i think it's pretty darn cool..
last year we got around 100 boxes!

How wonderful! We donate to Toys for Tots which I'm guessing has the same end result. :)
We're doing this at church for kids who have a parent or parents that in jail and away. I can't to help get them out ;)
What a great box and I usually do a couple angel trees and my children's school has a big drive this coming week.
