Actually I am here at the computer so I guess I'm not working on anything. I was able to move my everyday Jim Shore out and put up the Christmas pieces that I have.
These are the containers I keep my ornaments in. I am currently using 7 of them. You don't see the one with my Snowman ornaments here because it's over in the dining room because that is where I usually put the 3 small trees that they hang on.
Now if you look close you will see that there are 18 spots times 3 layers. So each container holds approximately 54 ornaments. I however usually have at least 3 in each spot. Since my collection has gotten so large I did this transfer about two years ago. Each year I would put each Hallmark ornament back into it's original box. TOOK FOREVER So now all of the original boxes have been opened and flattened and saved. Actually the boxes stay even better this way since they are not being opened and closed twice each season. It makes decorating my tree a whole lot faster.

Uh, seriously? Skye doesn't have to work on being cute, adorable, darling! It comes very naturally :-)
I wish my ornaments were as organized as yours...every year I say "when we take these down, let's organize them' yeah..like that's going to happen! By the time I get the tree down I just want it out of the way...all of it!
I really like your ornament boxes. Who makes those? You're so neat and tidy!
I have three bins of ornaments - mine have between three and four layers (I've added an additional layer in a few) but I only decorate one tree these days. I love having a diversity of ornaments - and it looks like you do too!
Can't wait to see your trees :)
WOW thats a lot of ornaments. I wish I was that organized. Your ornaments are gorgeous as well.
Skye looks beautiful.
That is A LOT of ornaments! I thought I had a lot! I like those containers! I'm glad someone else likes to save the original boxes too;)
Our tree is only 3 feet tall since we're still in the apartment & all of our ornaments fit into small cookie containers. Maybe when we graduate to the big kid trees I'll have pretty ornaments and containers like yours! Can't wait to see your tree!!
Can't wait to see a pic of your tree with all the ornaments. Bet it's beautiful.
Wow that's a ton of ornaments neatly organized. Impressive. Shoot I'll be surprised if I find the Christ ornaments I made at our church's Super Saturday craft event from a month ago. Your good.

Skye is doing his job VERY well, I must say. Skye is my granddaughter's middle.
My, you are one organized lady!
Woah, you could open a Christmas shop! I'm impressed with all the organization and time you put into decorating your home. How inspiring!
Skye is super-cute too!
You should make Skye do a little bit, enough of the laying around.
I love your decorations.
Wow, that's a lot of decorations!
Wow and I thought my sister in law had a lot of Christmas stuff. So very beautiful and I love them all. I try to keep my stuff neat when I put it away but somehow it doesn't always work.
Skye is sooooooooo cute.
Thanx for sharing

wow that is a lot of ornaments and decorations
think of each one as a candle for our Jesus
as for sky Im sure she would help but the weather in the picture looks so nice how could she?
It's way easier to decorate the tree with those organized holders. I LOVE THEM. I actually have plastic ones & I mark which tree they go too....since we have numerous trees up. hehe
I don't have quite as many Jim Shore Christmas pieces as you.......here's what I do have.
A snowman {didn't see it in yours}, the angel holding a Christmas tree. I think she belongs to the Seasonal Angel set. And a Santa holding a cow...since I collect cows too. LOL And downstairs we have the Santa in a fishermans hat....holding a sailboat...since Tom likes to decorate his "space" with beachy stuff.
And of course we have a couple of Jim Shore ornaments. Oh wait, I almost forgot.... we also have that sleigh with the 5 random ornaments in it.... It was part of a 4 piece set that they shipped out each season. {one is a watermelon, one is a cornocopia type thing, etc} I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
Happy Decorating! Come back & show us more when you are done.
My lowerlip is now hanging somewhere on my knees! How will you find the time for blogs with all those ornaments to put up, hang up, hang on, hang out, whatever....?
I wish you strength!
PS: Skye looks like a real cutie!
Don't you just love those organizers. We have some of the plastic ones that aren't as deep they only hold one ball but I sure love them. Haven't gotten into a big collection but I sure do love yours!
And Skye is so cute as always! :)
I can't wait to see your tree Debby and what a collection you have!
And of course, Skye is adorable!!!
I love those storage containers! I'm going to have to invest in some....the boxes I've used for years are falling apart!
Good luck on all the decorating this weekend. My mom just gave me a Jim Shore - Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus this year...I hope she continues the tradition...I love them.
