These are some of the gifts I received for Christmas. The Starbucks cup is an ornament, I get one each year. The spoon rest is Polish Pottery something my sister-in-laws got me started collecting. (We go to T.J.Maxx for great deals on it) Don't you just love the PEZ Wizard of Oz collection! (I just started to remove things from under the tree) You have to look close to see the rooster & Jim Shore pieces. I also have a love for dishtowels, see the pretty ones I got!
Just look at the AWESOME silverware set that my husband bought for me. He knows my love for pine cones and found these at Cabela's. He has since ordered the serving pieces and steak knives. We bought new silverware last year and the dishwasher has just made them ugly. I will be washing these by hand. Maybe I will get some nice hearty Pine Cone dishes someday but for now they will sit proudly next to my rooster plates. (not a great match but my whole kitchen is full of these rooster accessories from Home & Garden Party purchased back in 2000) The PJ's from up above are Cabela's too! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH and my husband too!P.S. So when I was unwrapping the silverware I was thinking how much I dislike the packaging of things. Each little twist and tie that has to be unfastened, each slip of plastic on each piece and each rubber band too! But then I thought to myself, I would rather do this every once in awhile then actually be the one who packages these all day long!
P.S.S. "Batteries Not Included" is on cable right now. (well not right now) If you and your kids haven't seen this movies from 1987 with Hume Cronyn & Jessica Tandy (Driving Miss Daisy). They were a couple IRL.

I would have loved to get a Target gift card and The Santa Claus movies! How fun!!
I got something from Cabela's too! My in-laws got me a hooded sweater. I've seen that silverware set in their catalogs, too-very pretty! :-)
I also got some Polish Pottery! I had never even heard of it before, but while my parents were living in Germany my mom went on a trip to Poland with a bunch of women who were excited about the pottery. Mom ended up getting a bunch too and between last Christmas and this Christmas I now have 4 pieces! :-) I didn't know it was at T.J. Maxx though-that's A LOT closer than Poland! LOL! I'll have to take pics of what I have and send them to you-maybe we have some of the same! :-)
wow...i didn't even know Cabelas had silverware...and it's cute too!
looks like a wonderful Christmas!!!
I do love the silverware....I'm looking for something new and different. Oh, but they will have to go in the dishwasher....I got enough of washing dishes as a kid! :) Now I'm lazy in that area!
Everything looks great. I also really like the Starbucks cup ornament, but I love ornaments too!
Wow! You got spoiled this year, huh? All of your gifts are beautiful! It's such a blessing to have a family who cares so much for you. :)
NIce gifts and a great movie too.
Very nice gifts - and I LOVE yor silverware too!
I bought myself a set of silverware a few years ago. I hardly ever use it though, because I want to keep it for best! So, when my sister came to stay, out came the silverware...
I love 'Batteries not Included'. Such a lovely feel-good film. I must have seen it about four times now and whenever it's on, I will watch it again.
Looks like you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! And how did I not know that Cabela's sold silverware..crazy!
wow - what a blesing! such fab gifts
Oh my,
I can't believe how many gifts you got. That must be so much fun to have so many presents to open!!!!
Hugs,
Trisha
It looks like you had a fabulous Christmas! And what a great way to display them all! I think I might just have to remember to do this next year. :)
The silverware is such a sweet sentimental gift from your hubs!!!!!
And I am with you on the twisty ties. They are so frustrating. There must have been a rise in theft because everyone started using those things as if someone could easily pull things from the box in the store.
Oh how wonderful of hubby to find you those flatware. They are gorgeous! I collect Polish Pottery too. Aren't they just the prettiest things mixed and matched?....Christine
Looks like you had a great Christmas!
Love your silverware! Darling! You need to take a photo of a place setting with your rooster dishes and new silverward! Let's see a tablescape!
Loved the post. Looks like you made out like a bandit!
What great gifts you got. I just love the silverware !!
Caroline
I like your new silverware! I didn't know you could get that at Cabelas!
What great gifts!
looks like you had a wonderful christmas!!!
OMGosh first off love that movie bought it for the boys a while back, they LOVED it.
Hate those ties they drive me nuts at birthdays and christmas!
Loving all the gifts and the silverware is gorgeous!! Love TJ MAXX on of the best along with Ross.
The Santa Claus movies are great. Lauren loves Santa so much because of the Santa Claus 3 and we have watched it about a hundred times since Thanksgiving! :)
The PEZ collection is awesome!! Right up your alley.
Let me know how Tori Spellings book is once you read it. I love her and just haven't taken the time to read it yet. Do you watch her show with Dean?
You make me dream!!
Beautiful, beautiful things... ah! ;)
Wow, your hubby must've scored major points with you for such a great gift! It's perfect!!!
I also have a pet peeve with packaging. The worst is on kid's toys. I think you need an engineering degree to figure them out. Ugh!
Looks like you got some great gifts. Jim Shore's pieces are so beautiful. My brother and SIL have been buying a piece for my mom every Christmas for the last 2 years now.
I started teaching my husband all about handwashing dishes the day he bought new silverware. It really only takes a minute or two to wash them and they look so much better. Love the pine cone motif. Cabelas is such a fun place.
Looks like you got some great gifts :)

You received such wonderful gifts! Your husband is very sweet to find silverware that was specific to your tastes!
And I have always had a soft spot for films with Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn.
What a sweet, thoughtful guy your hubby is!
Nice! I've admired that Polish Pottery at Home Goods. Cabelas sends a lot of boxes to this house, too, but not usually for me. Love the flatware.
I used to deliver papers when I was 15-18 for my "Cash", an hour int eh morning, and my work was done for the day. The newspaper took all the delivers to the movies as a "gift" one year and they played Batteries not Included. :)
