Let me share a little story with you. My husband was (and still is when you can find one in an arcade) a huge fan of the pinball machine Galaga. So when Hallmark came out with an ornament for 2009 I knew I had to buy one for him. So here we are opening present on Christmas day and I suddenly remembered that I didn't remember wrapping his Galaga ornament. So I immediately went on a little search. I could not find it and that made me mad. I am not one to lose things. I may look disorganized at times but I have always been able to put my hands on something within minutes. (I use to amaze my kids with that, especially when they searched their whole room for something they couldn't find and I would walk right in & show them) So lets face it, I'm a little older now so I guess it's pretty likely that I could misplace something.
Never did find it on Christmas day. So when I went to Hallmark for the day after Christmas sale I was lucky enough to be able to buy one at half price and was able to give it to him when I got home. It's really cute. Well guess who found it when she was putting away her Christmas stuff last week. Well the answer is ME of course. So I now have one to give away to one lucky winner. However, I would rather you NOT comment on this post unless you really want this ornament for someone who would really appreciate it. (please don't sell it on ebay)
As much as I love comments, just like you do, this ornament was bought out of love and it would be really fun to give it away to someone with the same appreciation for Galaga.
I apologize in advance if I hurt anyone's feeling about not commenting on this post.
You know I love all of you.....okay if you want to leave a comment but don't want to enter to win just let me know in your comment. I am of course a people pleaser in case you haven't noticed.

OMG! That was my favorite game too! (Back in the day, of course...) Seriously, I used to play that game for hours down at the local Nickelodeon arcade. I used to be good at it, but now whenever I run across one I can barely remember how to play it.
My husband and I would totally love it. I am so in. That sounds like something I would so do too..
you crack me up. I don't want to win this. Just wanted to say how sweet that you made sure your husband had one.
i don't wanna win either.. but had to comment and tell you that you are so sweet!
I wasn't a big Galaga fan, but if it were a PacMan game ornament I would so be swooning over it!
Glad you found the original and so happy that one of your lucky readers will have the chance at the ornament.
P.S. - I don't want to win either. :(
You can leave me out of the giveaway because like you I want it to go to someone who loves that game! That was my time period but I was a Qbert, Centipede girl. ;)
I just think you're sweet to do something so kind for your hubs!
you are too sweet...I don't need the ornament but loved the story...
Oh wow Both Rick and Dad are big arcade fans, me not so much so I don't pay attention to names but I know they would know it.
Very cool my dear! You sound just like me I always find the gift later on ... LOL :)
Ok we all just love you too. I would also love to win. My kids got those plug-in & play games a couple of years ago and this game was on it. My girls were amazed I knew haow to play it so well.
I loved that game. I used to play it in the arcades with my friends in the early 80s. I wouldn't sell it on eBay, but I do think I would send it to a friend of mine who used to play it with me, should I win this fabulous giveaway.
I have a great friend that has an old pin ball and another game like Gallager in her basement.
im still amazed that she got it down there and no one got broken, they are so heavy so if you havent picked a winner yet yeah, I might have a chance
