Now on to some serious business. Those who read me often know that I love to comment to comments. Now lets say that I get 30 comments on any given day, 10 of those comment will have no-reply. (Yes, I have talked about this before) This has really been bothering me lately. I want those of you who I consider to be some of my closet blogging friends to understand that I am not avoiding your comments. Sometimes I will go over to your blog and write my comment in your comment sections but that takes so much time :( I do not answer comments in my comment section, I read all my comments in my Gmail. So please don't think that I don't appreciate each and every comment you place on my blog. When I go through my reader and read your post I usually forget to thank you for your comment. When I first started blogging I didn't have my email address available. I changed that a long time ago and there has been absolutely no ill effects with having my email address visible. You may want to try it!

Debby, I always love your comments and the response to any comment I may leave. If for some reason you would stop responding to any of my comments, I would still know that you care and have just lost the time (after all, there is Skye and the husband as well...) in the day!

I love reading blogs, and whether or not I get a response back is okay. Life is full of so many things to do each day, it's hard to sometimes fit everything in.

Good post Debby. When I first started blogging, I would try and respond to each comment I received, but then it was getting overwhelming because of the amount of comments. Once in a while I will respond on my own blog again. Blessings.
That... that dog and husband in the trunk thing, I want it on a t-shirt! ROTF! It made my day :-D
About the comments, most bloggers never reply to their reader's comments at all, or they do one bulk posting... Take it easy, we know you care my dear!
I also try to reply to all comments but some days I'm too tired, too busy, or life just takes over - it happens!

I think that is the biggest challenge for both bloggers and readers alike. We find some many interesting blogs and sign up to follow them.
Then we realize one day, we're following over 200 blogs and how can we possibly find time in our life to stop by and read each and every one, plus leave comments.
However, I believe if you stop by and read, leave a comment. Tell the writer what you thought, did it inspire you, make you cry, can you relate or I just plain don't agree, but it lets us know that just besides all our followers, there are people out there really reading what we've written.
I love being here. It inspires me each and every time. I also agree with the picture you posted. I know my dog would be sooooo happy to see me. The hubby on the other hand, I'd better run once I open the trunk!

Sometimes I will read the comments that come to my email at work but won't have time to get on a blog or go and reply- it's odd that you wrote this because I was just thinking it myself!!!

I laughed so hard at the dog/spouse photo, hubby asked me what was so funny. He agreed and we both knew for sure Nano would be really happy to see us!
