While I was looking for my mojo I came upon this link for some free stuff today in honor of tax day. Actually I used my Jamba Juice coupon yesterday. I heart Jamba Juice :)
This is kind of an un-post and hopefully later today I will get a bug up my arse or find the missing mojo so I can work on picking the winners of last Friday's Blogiversary Giveaway. I am way behind on my reading too but don't fear I will be over to read you! (I'd rather find my mojo because the bug would be so uncomfortable)
So I'm going to tell you a funny story about Skye. (well it was funny to me and may just be one of those - you had to be there kind of stories) I don't have any pictures so you will have to imagine this one in your head. Pretend your listening to the radio. (I would say close you eyes and visualize this but you know how that would go) So my husband and I were watching The Hurt Locker on Saturday evening, our daughter and SIL were out for the day & Charlie was in their bedroom sleeping. Obviously Skye was not interested in the movie so she was entertaining herself playing with her toys. It is so much fun to watch her and she played for over an hour.
So she is playing with her little basketball (which doesn't squeak anymore so don't visualize that) and I saw her go over and put it in her new toy box. I told my husband "wouldn't it be cool if she would put all her toys away like that?" I swear she must of understood what I was saying because she looked at me with a strange (devilish) look in her eyes and immediately went back into the basket & started flinging toys out of the basket like a crazy dog. It was so funny. So in case you were wondering she does not pick up her toys!
So this is Skye's new toy box. It's not really a toy box but I am in love with the new Liberty of London line at Target so I just had to find a reason to buy it!

LOL!! She's a smart cookie she knew what she was doing!!
My dogs do the same thing! One flings it around, the other removes it methodically. One by one. I wonder what that one is thinking about!!!

I like the Liberty of London stuff, too, but I haven't bought anything for myself yet. I just bought a friend a summer scarf that I think she'll love!

I visualized it very well. and it cracked me up.
Cute doggie toy box. I can ask Sitka to bring me a specific toy and he will get it out of his box of toys and bring it to me. Dogs are so much smarter than humans give them credit.

That is a hilarious Skye story - I can relate because my dog does crazy things like that.
BTW I totally think dogs can understand us and if they could talk we would hear quite an earful. They probably think we are real dorks sometimes - ha ha!!

I'm convinced my dog understands everything I say. Like just now I put her up on the couch next to me (she can't/won't jump up) and told her not to get down because I was only lifting her once. Of course, she immediately got down...

I just discovered that line at Target a few days ago and it is really eye-catching! Skye is such a lucky dog, and she must be so clever to understand you like that!!

I love the box! I too think all the LIberty of London stuff is pretty darn cool!! :) So funny that she did that right as you said soemthing. I think they understand. they are smart little creatures. :)
