Just click on the awesome donuts and join in the fun. Thank you Linda.
1. What was the last thing about which you procrastinated?
That is a hard one, I procrastinate on everything. I will say the dentist because I am still procrastinating!
2. How long does it take you to fall asleep, and do you sleep through the night?
If all is well I can usually fall asleep okay. I seldom sleep through the night, I do most of my water drinking at night, that is when I am thirsty so I get up allot to go potty. I usually fall right back asleep. If I'm having a hard night I will lay on the sofa in my office and watch one of my favorite movies and fall asleep to it because I have seen it a hundred times.
3. Which decade would you choose to exemplify your favorite fashion styles?
Definitely the '70's!
4. What is your personal best dish to feed a crowd?
Lasagna for a crowd or a great casserole with chicken/cheese/tortillas/soup, etc.
5. Are you an impulse shopper? What was the last thing you bought on impulse?
DUH! Oh yes I am! The Body Shop items, Sephora items and 100% Pure order, that was last week. Yesterday it was AllPosters.com. Send me an email and my pulse gets going!
6. What is one wish you have for your own funeral?
Well it will just be a memorial service. No one will ever see me! Ashes go to Mammoth Lakes. I would like my music selections to get played, I want everyone to know how much I loved them and want everyone to know that they will see me on the flip side! (songs: Shout To The Lord, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, What A Wonderful World & Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas)
7. If it's true that joy is in found in the simple things in life, what does your joy look like today?
Yes I think so and I have been thinking allot lately that I want to live like the Amish. I would have to say goodbye to you guys but I want a simple life. So either that or be a Queen! Or do you mean like a Root Beer Float, Merry Go Rounds and puppy kisses?
8. What is your favorite type of bread?
I love sourdough and sheepherders. I actually like rye bread allot too!
9. What trait do you fear developing the most? (Laziness, greediness, grumpiness, etc.)
Well I have already mastered laziness and grumpiness. I will never be greedy!
10. What trait would you like most to develop?
Trust.
11. Which room in your house best reflects your personality? Why?
Well my office has allot of my favorite things so I guess that would be it. But I also have me in other rooms. I love my kitchen and my collection of tins, I have been collecting them for 38 years!
12. How do you maintain balance in your life regarding, work, family, church, other organizations and activities, and blogging?
I don't! I blog all the time. I am home all the time. Lost my connection with a church when I moved but have a great relationship with God. My only other activity is bowling and that is on Tuesday. That ends in a few weeks. I love my family and we try to get together often. (I am talking about my children, we have no other family in California) If your remember I have mastered laziness :)

enjoyed reading your answers, especially your song list for your funeral! have a blessed day!
Collecting tins for 38 years?!! That must be A LOT of tins ;)
I'm a procrastinator too! Not happy about that but I am. Lasagna is the best dish for a crowd. I can't share your love of the 70's in fashion though. ;)
Ah, yes, the downside of going Amish is losing cyber connections. I'm not ready for that trade-off either!
Oh I'm gonna have Shout to the Lord too...that's one of my faves!
I think most of us have written a small novel on the sleep question : ) Well, maybe not the under 40's : )
Debby...my oldest daughter and I were just talking yesterday that we would love being Amish right about now. No....POLITICS, wouldn't know or care about any of it.
Shout to the lord...I love you and you are sooo honest!!!
I often think it would be nice to live like the Amish too. There is an Amish community about 30 min. away....do you think they'll let me in? ;-)
I don't want to be Amish! I love simplicity, but that's a bit too much for me, plus they get up before dawn and cook breakfast! YUCK!
I am a procrastinator too! I can't do random dozen today because I only just got Matt's graduation post up!
Hope you are having a great day.
Hugs,
andrea
i think your funeral plans are great. love the song choices. I too want something similar.
i LOVE that you unashamedly don't keep
a balance.
if you think about it, 9-5ers don't keep
a balance. they are spending eight hours
at the work place.
i know women who can shop for hours.
why do i feel guilty for blogging for
hours?
Stopping by again to let you know that you've been tagged on my blog! :-)

always love reading these..
hope you have a great wed!
I enjoyed reading your answers! I fall asleep the moment that my head hits the pillow and I never wake up ever unless one of the kids wake me up. :)
I honestly don't think that I could go for the simpler life of the Amish. I enjoy my life as it is for the most part. I couldn't go without cyberspace, and all the essentials in my life. We do have a few things in common. It is great to have you as a friend.
Enjoyed stopping by and your answers were most entertaining. I'm with you on internet shopping. Oh, me, it has changed the whole "curve" of shopping for me. Blessings to you!
I love reading the Random Dozen every week.....one of my favorite kinds of posts.
Stop by and check out my Mother's Day Giveaway.
I too am a procrastinator. Wish I wasn't but there is always something else that needs doing. That is my story and I am sticking to it. Enjoyed all of your answers, loved your song choice!
until next time... nel
Great answers.I do not shop via the internet though. Kind of dangerous for me...LOL

Wishing you an advance HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Amish or a Queen! Too funny!
Hey, saw that Amy gave you a shout out! So cool!
Loved your answers, especially your wanting to either be Amish or a Queen and your funeral song list! You've made my day!
Hi Debby! Some of those questions are tough to answer but you handled them very well...Christine
Wonderful questions and a great way to get to know new friends. My favorite questions was about finding joy in the small things in life. My baby chick, Melvin, is sitting on my keyboard and watching the blogs stroll by. He is a small ray of sunshine that brings me so much joy, I could nearly cry!
COming over from Amy's blog...love your answers and nice to meet you!
I'm your newest follower! You had me at your funeral song list. I so could do any of those songs at a memorial service. By the way, I'm not planning on becoming nothing but ashes. I'm telling my daughters that I want to be stuffed. One will have 6 months custody of me and then the other. That way, they'll never forget me! LOL
I could eat sourdough bread all day long!
Oh my friend. I do not think you are lazy at all. I am so glad to have you in my life. Thanks for all you do for me and others.. Hugs..
i used to threaten to stuff my dog...of course, i wouldn't...
great answers :)
I'm an instant sleeper - It's rare that it takes me more than 5 minutes to fall asleep. It takes me longer to get my pillow in the right position lol
ha! you even started to procrastinate on your answer for the first question!
and love you answer for #12.
Oh I loved reading your answers! I always do Lasagna for a crowd..it's one of the few things I know I won't mess up:)
Thanks for stopping by. Trust was a hard one for me too.
OH my I love your answer for the last one, you know I have the same hard ship with this :)
Trust you have it my dear :)
Love all your answers.
Have a great one.
Caroline
Great dozen!!!!
enjoyed learning more about you, sweet woman. we also look at the amish (there are fairly large communities near old sweetwater) and think they aren't concerned with gasoline $ goes up or the energy crisis. smart people.
Tins, huh?
I don't think I've ever tasted sheepherders!
Live like the Amish or be the queen....LOVED IT!
The simplicity of the Amish has always intrigued me, but sadly I do not think I could unplug from everything like they do!
Cut down maybe but not unplug altogether. I'm weak I know!
Great answers.
Blessings
R
Love your funeral song list. You've got a couple of my favorites in there... Somewhere Over The Rainbow and What A Wonderful World.
But, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas? What if you die in the month of January?
