Glad you're able to be with your dad. I know exactly what you mean about telling him what to do.....I am doing that with my mama and it is just so weird.
Three meals a day....overwhelming just to think about it! I do hope it stops raining......it is raining every day here too.
So, some good came out of your father's illness: you got to see your family! :)
Seriously though, I hope your father will be better soon, I hope you will enjoy this time with your father (and the rest of your family of course) and I hope your joints will ease again. And I just know you will be fine (despite the large amount of dishes...)
glad you are enjoying your trip with your dad and your extended family, Debby! good that you guys have a chance to re-connect with each other. Honestly, I would put the blogging on hold and just enjoy that time; like I've said before, blogs are always here waiting for when we return to them (and we never forgot our friends in the blogging world either, no matter how long they might go between posts)
take care of yourself, I heard the East Coast is having some really hot weather!
you are being such a good daughter! glad you have time to spend with your dad! i agree with shell… take some time for yourself in all this too. cooking three meals a day. wow. if that was me, my family would have the health department on speed dial!!
Debby, Hope you are feeling better. You're right, the humidity has lots to do with that joint pain. You need to just take care of your Dad and not worry about anything else. We blog friends will wait for you to get back. Hope your Dad is on the road to feeling better. Many prayers Tonja
Hi I just found your blog today. Sorry to hear that your dad is sick. It's a weird role reversal when we have to take care of our parents. I had to help my dad when he had cancer, but we had some good days and some good conversations. my thoughts are with you both
It's so great that you're spending time with your dad. Yes, humidity can cause all kinds of aches and pains....makes me wonder why I live in the lower midwest.
What a blessed time even under the times I'm so glad you're there for him. I hear you cooking all the time takes so much time, thank God for a dish washer!

I can't imagine the day I take care of my folks instead. My parents are so strong. It just doesn't seem fathomable.
I hope you're still having a wonderful time with your dad!
Busy girl! Hope you can find some time to relax in there, too!
Hope your feeling better soon, and your dad. Life is so busy all the time. Not sure how I find the time to blog.

Debby,
Enjoy the rain, nothing is happening back here but hot temps and continuous sunshine. Hoping for cooler temps soon.
Enjoy your time and can't wait to see pics when you return.
