1. When was the last time you laughed until you cried?
I am pretty sure it was when I was in Florida in July, it was with my sister. I don't remember what got us going but it was funny! Isn't that the best feeling............
2. If you found $10 today, what would you do with it?
Well if I found it today it would belong to my husband (because we are in a cabin in Mammoth Lakes and I haven't left it) and he ain't getting it back!
3. Do you volunteer anywhere?
No I do not but I've been thinking about doing that for years now.
4. What is your favorite summertime veggie or fruit, and how do you eat it?
Blackberries - just rinse and eat however I have made a cobbler with them too!
5. Is your social sphere (circle of friends) small, medium or large?
Small in real life, extra large in the blog world.
6. When was the last time you attended a family or school reunion? How did that go?
We don't have family reunions, we are small. Didn't go to our last reunion, before that we went 10 years ago and it was awesome.
7. When you're feeling blue, what is the best way someone can cheer you up?
With lots of presents! {giggle} BIG HUGS ARE GOOD! I can cheer myself up by putting in a favorite movie!
8. Have you taken a vacation this summer?
I am currently on vacation, cabin in the woods! I also went to Florida for 3 weeks to help my dad who was ill but was able to visit with my sister, her daughters and her grandchildren, it was awesome. (FYI My dad is doing great)
9. What is the most unnecessary item you carry with you all the time?
Lip Balm, I never use it - not my style.
10. What is the best summer flick you have seen so far?
Toy Story 3 but Eclipse was good too!
11. Describe a perfect summer day.
Around 78 degrees outside, sitting on the deck of a cabin in the woods reading a good book, listening to the sounds of a waterfall, looking at the lake and smelling the pine trees.

Can't get my photos from my husbands computer but will try to give you a post link from my Florida trip.

I use my chapstick all the time in the winter and just before I go to bed each night. I can't live without that.

So, don't spend all this time behind your husband's computer! Sit on the deck with a good book and a nice cool glass of white wine. Listen to the wind in the trees and smell the pine!

this is so funny.. i am THE SAME way about lip balm.. i don't like the feel- the texture.. don't like it at all.. BUT i always have some.. lol

Hopefully you are staying put for awhile because the temps down south of you are blazing back up again especially by the weekend.
Don't you hate it when weather people complain about the weather and either want to see it warm up or a repeat of the same day. Yet once it begins raining it becomes Storm Watch!

Sounds like you're enjoying your vacay! Love reading the Random Dozen- I just did a 'Wednesday's WAlk' or would probably have done it too! I haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet. We need to get the Bigs to watch the first two and then go and see it... we better hurry! Summer is coming quickly to an end!

I was gonna say lip balm too...but then I remembered how I chase the kids around with it ~ forcing the cherry flavored waxiness onto their lips and realized: I carry it for the fun of it :)
