1. What is your favorite fair/carnival food?
Love the Funnel Cakes with lots of powdered sugar :o
2. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
I am sure that I am but I feel I have dealt with it enough not to let it control me.
3. What is your favorite gift to receive?
A gift that someone bought me because they were with me when I said how much I loved the item but I didn't buy it for myself.
4. When was the last time you tried something new?
Well when I was in Florida I had to drive my dads car. I don't like driving other peoples cars, especially when they are big ones because I am use to my Mini. But as I am typing this I remembered that I drove home from Mammoth Lakes last weekend. We have been going for over 15 years and my husband has always driven. Now that's because my kids brought my car up. Would not drive my husbands SUV! (story to come about my car and vacation)
5. What is your favorite and least favorite book genre?
Memoir, Mystery, Political Intrigue, Romance, Humor, Historical Fiction, Historical nonfiction, Chick Lit, Self-Help, Other
I like romance, always have! Self Help is okay and memoirs. I do not like most of the others.
6.Silver or Gold?
White gold for me, that is what I love.
7. What makes you sigh?
Puppies, babies and miniature things.
8. If you didn't know how old you are, how old would you claim you are?
Old like grandparents always were!
9. Would you break a law to save a loved one? To protect a loved one?
Yes I would.
10. If you had to teach something, what would it be?
Compassion 101.
11. You're having lunch with 3 people whom you respect and admire. They begin to criticize a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. What do you do?
Well if it was many years back I would have said nothing. Now I think that I would speak up for my friend and tell them that I know that person and I would appreciate them not talking about her/him.
12. Which of the 5 Love Languages is your prominent means of experiencing love?
Quality Time
Physical Touch
Acts of Service
Gifts
Words of Affirmation
I would have to pick Physical Touch, I long for it.

Great post! I loved learning more about you!
I, too, would stick up for a friend if other's were talking about her.
And, it's white gold for me, too!
Take me to the Carnival and get me an Elephant Ear with lots of butter - Yummo! I like the funnel cakes too :)
That last question was an interesting one I never thought about the 5 love languages - I'm greedy I guess I like them all.

Corn dogs for me! Although I'm not a big fan of carnivals or circuses.
I always love your answers, this time the one I loved most was Compassion 101! We can all use this course and lots of refresher courses!

I discovered memoirs this last year and I'm really enjoying them!
i loved your answers.
I always love reading your meme's! You are right, you learn so much:)
I always look forward to kettle corn in the summer. It comes to our town for the 4th of July, just doesn't seem like the holiday without kettle corn.
You like midgets?
*grin*
I've never had a funnel cake, I long to try one!
Always so much fun to learn fun things about others. Thanks for leaving me such a nice comment while I was recovering from my fall. Stella
Can you believe I've never tried funnel cake?
ummm i would have to go with the different varieties of fried cheese. Break a law to protect someone, you bet.
I loved this by the way! :)
Love and Prayers,
Tim
These little quizzes are always so much fun! I love how miniatures always make you sigh. That's how I feel about baby shoes!!
Very thoughtful answers..again, I love knowing more about you!
I bought a gift for my friend because she oohed and ahhed over something. I told her that I was going to buy it for my mom and she totally agreed that my mom would love the gift. It was the perfect set up LOL
The 5 love languages - hmmm - I like that list. I think I am an acts of service kind of gal.
Kristin - The Goat
Enjoyed reading your answers this week. I'm very administrative. I could probably use your Compassion 101 course.
Do you remember the song I showed on my blog just the other day? I really wanted the album, but couldn't get it in the Netherlands unless buying on the net). And then I found out too late my sister would be coming to my grandmother's funeral. And I could have had it sent to her.
Yesterday she gave me the cd. As a present. Totally unexpected! She is my best sister!
I'm a white gold girl too....and funnel cakes....yum.
Old like grandparents so not true.
Oh man I hate driving other ppl's cars either. That would be hard going from a mini to a big car :)
Yummy Funnel Cake :)
i love that you would stand up for
a friend even if you are with others
you admire.
that's a good friend!
Funnel cakes are pretty much the same as elephant ears -- deep fried yummyness :)
This was a fun Random, wasn't it?!
What an interesting post. Learned a lot more about you and others from comments. We share some of the same things. I love just about anything that is not good for you. However, stay away from it due to high blood pressure. Thank you so much visiting.
Oh, yes, love those elephant ears too! Thanks for stopping by and I so enjoyed your answers. Random Dozen is a fun meme and a fun way to meet great folks! Blessings to you for a great week-end!
I really like this list. It's the absolute best!!!!
Always love reading these!!!
Hugs-
L
I see you love funnel cakes too! The last time I had one in public, I was walking out carrying the plate in front of me, and a HUGE fan on the ceiling lifted up the plate...and it landed right in my face. Hubby never lets me forget that.
We just bought a funnel cake kit at Fleet Farm, and what a hit the funnel cakes were on our last camping trip!
I'm afraid of big vehicles too. We have a Ford F150 (bought it to pull the trailer) and I seriously have to pray before I drive it. It makes me very uncomfortable! I can drive it just fine, it's parking that gets me every time...
