Head on over and join us....Linda is waiting!
1. Do you do garage sales? If so, tell me about one great find. If not, tell me why not.
I have had a few garage sales in my life but I never ever go to any. It's like going through stuff at a Marshall's store, I just can't do it.
2. Name the last thing you fixed.
Fixed as in repaired something or fixed as in cooked? I'm just going to say a perfect glass of wine!
3. Name your A) Favorite item of makeup OR B) Favorite tool
I am in love with Korres face creams and make-up. My skin has never looked better!
I let my fingers do the walking, I seldom use tools.
4. Which room in your home needs organizing more than any other?
It would be a few cabinets in the kitchen.
5. Which room could use re-decorating?
I am always searching for a quilt for our bedroom. Then I would paint a wall and a buy some pictures for the wall.
6. Share something unique about your town.
The Mission Inn which is a National Historic Landmark Hotel & Spa. Our daughter had her wedding there.
7. If you could send a one-sentence message to your great-grandchild, what would it be?
God made you perfect in His eyes and I agree. Love who you are.
8. Do you Facebook?
Yes but only once in awhile. Mainly to see what my nieces are up to in Florida.
9. Describe your favorite shoes.
I wear Birkenstocks all the time.
10. Do you listen to more talk radio or more music radio? What kind of station is it?
I listen to CD's or my MP3 player. I only listen to the radio when the holiday music is on for like six weeks!
11. How far would you travel for a really good (favorite) meal?
1749 miles (2815km)to Chicago for Gino's Pizza, Aurellio's Pizza and Carm's Italian Beef! We are actually going in October. Wouldn't mind going to one of the Bohemian restaurants for Pork, Dumplings & Sauerkraut too!
12. If you were totally honest with yourself (and us) what should you probably be doing right now instead of blogging?
Nothing, I am the Queen.

Great answers, Queen! You deserve a perfect glass of wine!!!
I've never been to Chicago, it's on my list, along with about a million other places!
Loved your answer to the last one! :D
I do like my Birks in the summer, but now that it's getting cooler, I'm back to sneakers!
I miss the architecture and colors of the west coast, but they just look strange out here in the east . . . and that's my excuse for not redecorating. I'm paralyzed by my ideas being out of place in my surroundings!
I love garage saleing! I have found some amazing things, super cheap. I have to get to Chicago some day, I've heard amazing things about their pizza. I'd have to go straight up to Buffalo for their amazing Beef on Weck...yummy.
I feel exactly the same way about #1. My inlaws go and they also do alot of flea markets. I can only take a little of that and I never find anything. My father in law is always finding great furniture though...we have a beautiful trunk and a chair he found for us and refinished/recovered. I would have walked right on by.
Enjoy your day!
ha - love your answer to the last one.
I can't do garage sales because it requires getting up way too early!
I have very strange feet and legs I guess. I've tried several times to wear birkenstocks and they hurt my feet and all the way up to my hips!
Have a great day!
Birkenstocks, huh? I love my one pair--but I bet you have a lot more, don't you!
Please tell me you would not travel 1749 miles JUST for Italian food... there MUST be something else you come here to Chicago for, LOL!
Maybe I will head over & check out this 'Random Dozen' if I have time. It looks like fun :)
Have a great day!
great answers!
have a great day!!!
I have heard that Mission Inn is really nice; we might just have to drive up there and check it out. Yum on the pizza; I bet it is really good to consider going all that way for one of them! I occasionally swing by a garage sale if something looks really good as I drive by; but usually avoid them too. However, when we move, I always like to have one to get rid of the stuff we always seem to accumulate
enjoy the day
betty
Love your answers to #2 and #12. Thanks so much for sharing. Blessings, SusanD
I am a weirdo... I like to have a garage sale to get rid of stuff but I never go to them.
Chicago is truly worth the trip! I love that city.

I will have to remember the answer to #12. When I'm not doing housework it's because I'm the queen.
I think you win the prize for your answer to #12. I think I was a bit too serious on that one. :o) Enjoyed stopping by and wishing for you a wonderful rest of the week!

3. I love my Swiss face wash, it keeps my face virtually spot free! And my favourite tool would be the hammer. Or the power drill. No, the hamm... power dr... Either would be good!
I like the last one, Debby, lol...Christine
my Sister use to work for the Mission Inn. I am glad you are a queen. I am sad that BB 12 will be over also it starts soon here..
I so agree about yard sales. I just can't bring myself to stop. Plus I don't need more stuff.
That is a far travel for a meal!
I am the same way as far as digging through things at garage sales, I use to do it, but not so much anymore. I have had my fair share of garage sales though.
I loved your last answer! I had a similar answer on #11. I would go to Chicago to eat pizza at Giordano's. My husband could never believe Chicago pizza could be so much better than any other until I finally took him there and he tasted for himself. He's sold! ~ Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great weekend!
