Head on over and join Java for Meet Me On Monday!
Questions:
1. Do you sleep with a night light on?
No but there are several around the house so you can walk around without turning on lights. We have a sliding door in our bedroom that does not have curtains so we do have the city lights in the background.
2. What do you drink with dinner?
Usually water w/lemonade. Sometimes a glass of wine depending on the dinner.
3. Do you play the lottery? If so, how often?
My husband does it and he has a ticket for each drawing. He actually won $11,000. a few years ago. I have to say that he was lucky enough to have a very nice woman wait on him because he didn't know it was a winning ticket. (you have heard the stories how some people have said it wasn't a winner and kept it for themselves) Actually I was with a friend coming home from Vegas years ago, went to check a ticket at some gas station and the guy said no winner and immediatly put it under his counter. Talking about it later my friend thought that maybe I was taken.
4. How often do you go to the grocery store?
Maybe once a month. We do the majority of our shopping at Costco every 4-6 weeks. I may pick some things up if I go to Walmart or Target.
5. Would you rather travel back in time 500 years or travel forward 500 years?
I would rather travel forward providing my family is with me. However after saying that it might be nice to meet relatives from the past. (I guess I am not sure about my answer)

We don't sleep with a light on, but we do have the little lights around here and there in the house to guide the way. :)
What interesting questions and answers! Will visit Java now!

I wish I only had to go to the grocery store once a month!!
My dad used to leave lights on all through his house--for his cats!
We never play the lottery.
Stopping by from Meet me on Monday hop.
Do night lights count?!?!
once a month?! holy cow!! I wish I had the storage room for a hefty trip like that.
We have nightlights in the hallway upstairs and in the bathrooms. I could never sleep with one in my room. When me and my husband were by ourselves before kids we shopped monthly, I wish I could do that again.
I might link up this week! I love the questions and as always you have great answers!
wow. 500 years is a really long time!
to go back 500 years is to invite a really hard way of living. and lack of dental care! (i know, weird thing to think about)
going backwards is going to the known (sort of) but journeying forward requires a huge leap of faith as we step into complete unfamiliarity.
i'm a little bit more cautious that way, but to think of the advances 500 years from now. i'm sort of hoping by that time, they'll have invented bra straps that stay where they belong and won't show no matter what kind of top we're wearing.
Holy smokes only once a month! I can't imagine grocery shopping just once a month. When I am at home I shop nearly every day - I guess it helps living next to the grocery store - I have gotten used to it lol

I guess I'm too far south to drink anything but sweet tea with lemon!
And, I have small lights all through the house that I never turn off. So, I can walk through the house and see just fine. I do not like to be in total darkness!
Great questions and answers!
I am your newest follower from the MOM Hop. Your blog is so eye appealing and I can not wait to come back and visit!

really great questions and answers today!!!
11,000... man!! i NEVER EVER have good luck like that!!
have a beautiful monday!!!
that was great your husband winning that much a few years back from the Lottery. You always hear of people playing but you rarely hear of anyone actually winning!
that question about 500 years back or forward in time would be a hard one to answer too I think
enjoy the day :)
betty
Get out of here! So fun about the lottery winner. I have never known anyone to win more than a hundred!
Fascinating about the grocery store. I feel like I practically live in our grocery store!
Hi! Following you now from Meet Me on Monday. My blog “Inspire” has inspiring messages. Please follow back!

Sometimes the future is scary... but we must face it, right?
5. Backwards. Especially since I just found out I am descendant of Kings and Counts and Dukes. Oh and Romans! I would love to meet them in real life!
I wouldn't want to go backwards. It would've been harder to work my way up the ladder, and it's been hard enough already!
I'm going to embark on the whole once a month grocery shopping thing. I've been going once a week!
Wow - you only shop once a month?!! That would be so awesome, weekly shopping takes alot of time!
Way to go on hubs winning, I think that is a little funny also about that guy putting it under the counter ;(.
I don't know like you about the #5 question. hmmm
Wow, forward or backward 500 years sounds scary!
Wow I've never known anyone to win that much in lotto. Congrats to your hubby!
Visiting from the blog hop.
Wow, congrats on winning that much! I won a TV once, oh and a trip for 4 to Las Vegas.
I did see that on 20/20 or Dateline about the clerks stealing the winnings. Good to know...
I do not want to go back but forward. I hope you have a great night!
Impressive that he actually won some money!
I guess I'm not very adventurous...I don't think I'd like to go ahead 500 years. Too many unknowns.
Geez, are you kidding about keeping the lottery tickets????? I swear I had NO IDEA that people would do that...another reason NOT to play. Good grief, what is wrong with people???
Hey Sweetie,,hope your Monday was beautiful!!!
As you trust in Him~~~
May the light of our Savior Jesus Christ continue to shine through you Sweetie!!!
Hugs Dena
I wish I could get away with once a month shopping. I am in the dumb store at least twice a week!
Water with lemonade? Do you mean you mix them?
11,000 bucks! WOW! I need to start playing- and yes I have seen those shows... glad he got an honest one!!!
I love Costco! Fun questions as always friend!! Meant to write you back from my "teacher" blog today- but got caught up with testing and other 'stuff'- I thought I had it set now where you could reply to these messages... hmmm....
Wow! How lucky of your husband to win the lottery!...Christine
