Honestly I haven't had anything on my mind to blog about. It will come back, it always does. So I have some random things to show you. This first picture has some of the items I received for my birthday. Some DVDs, flowers from my son and his best girl, adorable wine class from Headless Mom, camels from Alexis, lots of cards, a few checks, some cash and the really cute card from my sister. (click to enlarge the pictures) Cute story about the flowers, my son always thinks my birthday is on the 4th not the 3rd so guess what arrived on Monday the 4th? But that was great, I don't mind spreading my birthday out for several days.
Next we have Miss Skye B who got a haircut yesterday and as you can see from the other shots she was due for one! Being by herself sleeping in the living room on the sofa. Then you see her with her ball in my shoes that sit by the back door that I wear when I go outside. She is always keeping us entertained!
We had several days of rain last week and of course we also had a few rainbows. Then you see my giraffe with a scarf. My daughter is just learning how to crochet so she is currently making little scarfs! She is actually doing a really good job and caught on quickly. Then you see the pumpkins that our daughter & son-in-law plan to carve for Halloween. I'm glad I won't be here for that. I was never good with my children making messes. (they had to do play dough in the garage on the floor)

Ha-play dough in the garage : ) My pet peeve was glitter. And carving pumpkins was for dad to supervise...usually outdoors! He enjoyed it though so it was a win win... Have a nice weekend!

had to laugh over the mess. my mom was like that too. mention cookie baking to her and the psycho music would play in her head!
candy corn and peanuts are the BEST. like having a big bowl of paydays!! mmmmm. won't go near the stuff now. i'm doing really great eradicating sugar from my diet. can't go backwards now. but the candy corn thing is totally killing me.

You bought the candy corn because it's 100% fat free and tastes so good. I know I am experiencing the same thing and it's now my new night time snack.

We were blessed that we stayed home for mine last Monday!!! Woooohooo. But it was very hectic and no rest until late that night.. We have our G~Kids on Mondays plus parent teacher night to go to.. Then preparing for our BT the following days..
