1. Have you ever been on a real sleigh ride? How about the warm weather version - a carriage ride?
I don't think I have done either of those but I think I would enjoy them very much.
2. What's your policy on 'chain mail'...you know, the emails you receive that are often some sort of poem/blessing/good wish that ask you to send it on to 10 or 12 friends? Do you delete without opening, read and trash, read and trash and then worry you won't be blessed/lucky/protected? Do you delete the sender from your contacts or just go ahead and send the love onward?
I don't do many of them anymore. I will look at them and delete most of the time.I get kind of mad about the Jesus ones. I know I have His protection and I will not be cursed if I don't pass it on.
3. Who is your favorite character in any of the Christmas movies and why?
Well I love Christmas movies and it would be hard to pick just one. I do love the Santa in the original Miracle on 34th Street, he is such a kind soul and I do believe in sending people to other stores! I love Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye in White Christmas. The party they throw for their General is so awesome. (Rosemary Clooney is awesome too) Can't forget George Bailey from It's a Wonderful Life and Clarence! I love Tim Allen in the The Santa Clause movies. You need to see Prancer and One Magic Christmas too, talk about finding the spirit in Christmas, OMG!
4. Share a favorite quote.
"Every time a bell rings an angle gets his wings"
5. What's your favorite holiday scent?
Well I love to have a pine candle so it smells like a fresh cut tree. I also love Mandarin Orange.
6. Does the Christmas season stress you out? In what way?
Duh! Sorry, I mean yes. It just seems like there is so much to do. Now if I were smart I would work on cards earlier, like in November and also wrap presents early. The stress is self inflicted and I have no one to blame but myself. (maybe my computer who has me under its spell everyday)
7. What's the best thing about your life right now?
Healthy family members is the biggest blessing I could ever ask for.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Just want to wish everyone a beautiful Holiday Season with unbelievable memories that last a lifetime. ((HUGS))

I couldn't agree more with you on every account!! Love all the movies you listed and your answer to question # 7 just about sums everything up!
Come see my new header! I am just tickled pink by it - it more reflects me than the previous one!
Blessings!
Ann
I agree--it would be very difficult to narrow down a favorite character from a Christmas movie, but I'd have to go with Scrooge. And, you reminded me that I haven't written the annual Christmas letter yet which adds to my stress and ....LOL
Have a great day!
My stress is also self inflicted. I always vow to do better but here it is December and my list is a mile long. And I'm just not feeling very motivated to cross stuff off.
We love White Christmas in our house too...when our girls were little they used to put on dress ups and re-enact the Sisters song. It was just too cute for words.
Merry Christmas!
he's one of my FAVORITE santas! He just warms your heart, doesn't he?
Great answers.. I love the smell of pine.. Sometimes everyone stress a little during the holidays.. Have a great day..
I just love reading your answers.
I'm with you on #2 ... especially the ones that say something about how if I'm not ashamed of Jesus, I'll pass it on. How I respond to that e-mail has nothing to do with my relationship with Jesus!
I love that line from It's a Wonderful Life (my very favorite Christmas movie -- I cry every.single.time I watch it).
Blessings!
I so agree with #6--my stress is self-inflicted. Doesn't make it any easier to deal with, though. Have a Merry Christmas!
Love the answers, and I agree picking just 1 Christmas favorite is hard. I love watching all the movies. Have a great week.
I love Bing and Danny in White Christmas. Especially when they are still in the dressing room and Danny is telling Bing that he wants 45 minutes a day all to himself. I've tried and tried to say those lines along, but will fail every time!
#7 is so spot on. BTW, I love pine trees too.
I grew up with A Christmas Story. My siblings don't like it at all, but I think it's great (They're very much younger than me).
I get aggravated by those chain mails, too. I mean, really?
And I love that quote. Here's to hoping you have a wonderful holiday season as well!
i SO agree on number two... ditto all the way!!!
hope you have a great day!!!
I love the movies you mentioned...now I want to watch Miracle on 34th street. I liked the remake too, but the original is the best.
My fave holiday scent is cinnamon!
I forgot about oranges that is a great smell too. Good movies, and I also love the Tim Allen movies...fun and silly, but with a good message.
aw merry christmas to you too.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Love your answers.
I fogot about Prancer, isn't that the one with Sam Elliott in it? Definitely would be my favorite character no matter what he played. lolol. Enjoyed all of your answers, and I too get a little agitated about the emails if you love Jesus... I'm sorry that has nothing to do with my love for Jesus. Oh well I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas also.
until next time... nel
I was just thinking about #6. Christmas is the Same Day Every Year so why do we wait so long to get everything done??? Every year I promise myself I'll be more organized ... ha!
It stresses me out too! I usually start my shopping early, this year I have procrastinated on everything. I might start wrapping tonight because the days are going by WAY too fast!
I feel the same way about the Jesus chain mails. My relationship with Him doesn't depend on my passing on emails or facebook statuses. The original Miracle on 34th Street is one of my favorites!
Oh, I forgot about that Christmas quote. That's a good one!
I, too, like Mandarin Orange. It's one of my favorites--anytime of the year!
Loved all of your answers. They all ring true don't they?
Those are all great movies! I just love Christmas movies.
I'm with you about chain emails, Debby. I tend to delete a lot of them too. I don't do a lot of forwards with emails either. I figure people have so much in their in box, they don't need any more
Mandarin Orange is a good scent I think!
betty
Loved all of your answers.
Caroline
Great answers!! I haven't seen One Magic Christmas but I think I need to.
I came back to visit your tree again also :-D I need to put mine up this weekend and I'm hoping I can at least get close to what you've done. It's awesome!
Stress and Christmas go hand and hand right? lol
Real Sleigh ride would be very cool.
LOVE your random thought! XOXO
Don't forget Mary in It's a Wonderful Life. That woman was a saint - so kind and patient.
I ignore chain letters. I wouldn't delete the person, but I never, never send them on. I don't believe in silly superstitions.
And I do love Christmas. It can be hectic, but I really don't find it stressful. Well, actually, work becomes a little more stressful during the holidays.
