I am not a soap watcher, but when I heard that news, I was disappointed. Anything that last that long, is special in its own right. Blessings to you Debby.
I hope you are ready for the trip! It sounds like a lot of fun and we all will get great post to read?! I'm sorry about your daytime shows - I've not watched daytime tv in a very long time.
When I was younger, mama and I watched As the World Turns. It was kinda sad when they cancelled it. You must be so thrilled about your upcoming trip. Enjoy your day!
My soap has been threatened lots. I'd miss Days if it went off. Your trip is going to be fantastic! We had bad weather which caused a tv outage so I never got to watch the show I promoted..ugh
I know it is going to be so exciting going on your trip. I am the same way about body odor. My husband is always complaining when we go somewhere about how much stuff I take.
My sisters and I used to take turns being "sick" so we could stay home from school to watch Days of Our Lives. Julie and Doug's first child was born the same day as my niece.....he grew up a lot faster! :)
I do NOT know how I would pack to go on a trip like that, so good luck!
ohmyword… i've been gone too long. your blog is AHHHHHDORABLE!!! love the new look! so cheery! your trip sounds fantastic. i'll be the one still in the states turning a wee big green.
I used to be a big fan of "The Young and the Restless", but haven't watched for years. I really don't watch much TV during the daytime. Your trip sounds out-of-this-world EXCITING!
I read that AMC was canceled on a tabloid at the grocery store and I thought it was just a made-up tale. I haven't watched it in 15 years but I used to be addicted, so I feel bad about it.
I'm sad about All My Children too! I started watching when I was really little! I think I'll be watching this summer before it ends again! I'm hoping some of the old friends will come back for a visit!
21 day trip, Wow, that's a long time and a whole lotta memories can be made. Good for you! I prefer to wear my clothes only once before washing, but sometimes on a trip, that isn't possible. :o) Easter blessings to you!
Wow, your trip is coming up soon!! I didn't hear that All My Children had been canceled, that was my SIL's favorite soap to watch. Its been around for years, sad to see it go.
When we went to Ireland we went to a laundromat one time. It was so cold during our trip though that we had to wear our clothes a few times because we were in so many layers!
I'm so excited about your trip - I can hardly wait for you to experience it!!

I wanted to watch Truth Be Told, but still not watching TV. I should be able to watch the Hallmark though if it's Easter Sunday! :-)
I'm getting so excited for your trip! I just know you'll have such a great time! Love Hallmark movies--and commercials!

The last thing Daytime TV needs is another talk show and that is what they are putting in that slot. One geared toward a younger crowd!
