1. National Read a Road Map Day falls on April 5th. Would people say you have a good sense of direction? Do you rely on a GPS when you drive somewhere new? When was the last time you used a map?
Yes I think people would say that. No GPS for me but I do Google maps before I venture out anywhere I haven't been before. Actually I look at the maps at Google Maps!
2. What's your favorite cookbook?
Fannie Farmer. I also buy it for a shower gifts. I have enjoyed The Pioneer Woman and A Year of Slow Cooking which are newer ones.
3. What painting would you like to "walk into" and experience? Why?
Thomas Kinkade's Silent Night. It just looks like the perfect setting for a Christmas Celebration.
4. What annoys you more- misspellings or mispronunciations?
I think I am going to say misspellings.
5. What is something your mother or father considered important?
Respect for all people.
6. Do you like or dislike schedules?
Schedules are okay.
7. Let's have some fun with National Poetry Month (that would be April)...write your own ending to this poem "Roses are Red, Violets are blue..."
Leave me a comment, and I'll come visit with you....
8. Insert your own random thought in this space.
I had something I wanted to tell you but I forgot because this post took me hours. Google still is not working for me. I have to put a paragraph symbol in Html in front of everything or it all smashes together. So when this publishes I'm not sure what it will look like. I know I can't get the spacing to work! If anyone know how this can be fixed I would appreciate your help.

I rely on a mixture of road maps and gps when I am on the road. I need to know a bit about the lay-out of the roads, since some bridges can't bear the load of a bus, some viaducts are too low and there are many many streets in which you don't want to drive a bus! Way too narrow!
Number 4 I would answer both. Especially when I do it! Thank you Debby for sharing. Blessings.
Great answers and I'm sorry you are still having trouble with Google. I get lost very easily so I'm glad you don't.
I'm smiling because you picked a Christmasy picture : )
Good luck with your blog woes...I am sadly no help at all.
I'm so sorry to hear that you're still having issues with Google. :-(
I love Thomas Kinkade's work! And the one you chose is beautiful!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I'm bad with directions. Never rely on me to bring you anywhere lol. I get lost leaving a doctors office, sad right? I need some new cookbooks, but look online for everything now. Not sure of blogger, I left it for a reason. Hope you get it fixed soon.
idk about your blogger issue. weird.
i constantly mispronunciate words. and i'm pretty sure I just misspelled that.
I would so walk into that painting. It is THE perfect Christmas picture.
I hate misspellings too. That's one of the reasons I take our local paper....they are very creative.
I used to be anti-schedule. Then I had a kid.
Love that Thomas Kincaid picture. So pretty.
My mom thought respect was very important too.
I have noticed that I have to actually click on your pictures to see them. :(
I need a schedule and someone standing over me to make me stick to the schedule!!!
I also like Thomas Kinkade's paintings. The one you chose was gorgeous. Hope you get computer problem solved soon.
number three... i think it's an awesome choice!!
have a lovely day!!!!!
I like the picture you chose! Beautiful!
I've always liked schedules, but haven't been to good with them personally since being a stay-at-home mom :-/ (The kids are on schedules though!)
I like the poem you came up with! Cute! :-)
Silent Night is one of my favorite Thomas Kinkade paintings! Beautiful!
Your cookbooks sound wonderful.
I wish I could help you with blogger.
I just don't know the answer.
The post turned out ok.
Have a great day!
Kudos for you for trying to do this when your blog is acting up. I would have given up!
Debby I'm directionally challenged. Smooches!!
I like your #7. Thanks for always leaving sweet comments when you visit.
I have found that I cannot copy and paste Joyce's questions into my blog without a lot of reformatting. I just type them from scratch. Perhaps that's the reason for your woes?
Love your random thoughts. I have the same trouble sometimes with the spacing. Have a great week.
I love that painting. I think that would be fun to walk in to.
Your poem ending cracked me up. Oh, how we love our comments! Thanks for leaving one when you visit me.
I've been having sporadic sproadic trouble w/ Blogger. Drives me nuts because I truly won't read a long, squished up post because it makes me feel like I can't breathe. But I don't even know how to put the paragraphy symbol in mine ,let alone how to do anything else to fix it.
Never mind the "sporadic/ sproadic" thing. I hate when I publish before proofreading!
I love his painting he use to have a gallery here in Tacoma and it was beautiful!!
I've never seen a Fannie Farmer I'll have to check that one out!
Google still hates me, I've been using Window Writer and it's super easy to upload pictures too.
I like your answer to #7, very cute and original!! I've visited a few people doing this meme this week and your's is definitely the cutest!
I like what your parents thought were important, we do need to be respectful to all indeed!!
betty
I have a good sense of direction, but I LOVE my GPS, and can't live without it. Misspellng doesn't bother me because I can't spell for my life!

I just got a slow cooker recipe book for Christmas, but I haven't used it yet! I really need to pick out a recipe and try it. I love your new header!
Have to havse my GPS. I can go so many more places now I wouldn't have ventured before. Especially in cities I am not familiar with.
loved reading your answers....and me...no gps...no good sense of direction but meet alot of neat people who always seem to point me the right way.
I do read maps and although my Dad gave me a GPS in October, I've still never plugged it in.I use Mapquest before I set out, but I have a well worn map in my car.
Love the new blog look!!! I was just thinking today how much I LOVE my GPS!!! I have such a horrible sense of direction. I am also a grammar snob for sure!! Fun read as always (just now getting around to reading!)
