1. What gives you goosebumps?
I usually get goosebumps when I hear a really sad story.
2. Halloween-are you a lover or a hater? Okay, that sounds harsh...Halloween-yah or nay?
I enjoy the kids coming to the door. I won't get dressed up or go to a party.
3. Can you respect someone you do not trust, and can you trust someone you do not respect?
I don't trust the President yet I will respect him for the position he holds. I think it may be possible to trust someone you don't respect, not easy but possible.
4. Apples or oranges? Yes, you have to choose.
Granny Smith or Rome Beauty apples.
5. What is something you wish was in your town? (shop, restaurant, attraction, etc)
Easy peasy! I would say Gino's Pizza, Aurelio's Pizza, Lou Malnati's Pizza and Barones Pizza.
6. What non-food item is in your refrigerator or freezer?
In the freezer we have one of those ice chest things to keep food cold. We do have baking soda in the refrigerator. I know you can bake with it but I don't think of it as a food item.
7. Are you at all superstitious?
No but I use to be a little bit.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Get a pencil out so you can mark this date down. I watched a documentary on the OWN channel last Friday called Miss Representation. It was excellent! They will be reshowing it on November 12th at 11am ET so mark your calendar to set your DVR. It has been shown at nine Film Festivals and is worth watching. Here is the link to their web page.
If there are any Big Brother fans out there Rachel and Brendon are going to be on The Bold and The Beautiful this Friday and next Monday. (Halloween) It is a half hour soap on CBS. FYI

Almost the same answer on #3! And this time of year, apples I think will be the most popular answer.
Since Hallowe'en isn't really done in the Netherlands, I am still on the yay side. It might change once I'm across the pond though...
So I guess you like pizza? : ) Enjoy your day!
THere can never be too many pizza places.... I am an orange girl...
I love Halloween, it is so fun. However I still have no clue what to dress up as this year. Trust I don't go there. I have to trust people to respect them.
We live 5 miles from a University town, so there are plenty of pizza places here ... my favorite is a wood-fired pizza place, an independent pizza place ... awesome pizzas and salads, but it's pricey so we don't go very often. :-(
Confession, I keep nailpolish in the fridge. Someone once told me it lasts longer that way? lol
Loved your answers...I am a Granny Smith and Rome apple girl too! Have a blessed day.
I love a good pizza, too. Oh, and in answer to your question, yep, I'm the Brookfield visitor. Do you live in the same area?
I just checked out the website for Miss Representation- thank you for posting about that. A worthy cause indeed!
Granny Smith apples make the best apple pies ever! YUM!
YAY to Granny SMiths !!!
i saw a preview of that program on OWN your talking about.. didn't watch.. but now with your recommendation.. i'll be checking it out!!!
I have to agree with your answer to question #3
and I like halloween because the kids get to dress up,and we give safe treats to the children...I would like to dress up one year, but I'm not this year.
Thanks for the heads up on Miss Representation. I may have to download it from itunes here in Germany.
Well hello there, fellow pizza-holic! Our town is so small, we don't even have an Olive Garden or Red Lobster. But we do have a Pizza Hut - so...Yah!
Seems a lot of Americans don't trust their politicians. Oh well don't worry, down here in S Africa we don't like, respect or trust ours 'cos they don't do anything worthy of either!!!
Keep well
LG
Oranges for me...though I do eat apples, occasionally. I do love apple pie!! We keep batteries in our fridge, someone said they last longer that way. Also, we keep baking soda and the dogs eye drops in there. :o)
what about a pizza place?! hehe
i like Halloween as long as its simple ..kids..costumes..candy
I've never even heard of the OWN channel! Guess we're a little behind down here!
So...I take it you like pizza??
I'll go check out Miss Representation ~ it must be awesome!!
Great answers, Debby!...Christine
I like your answer to #3, I think you summed that up really well! It is fun when kids come to trick or treat; I always like the little ones who are so excited and so exhuberant!
betty
Love you answers. I love Halloween. It is just fun. I get goosebumps with sad situations too.
And I don't tell a lot of people, but I love Big Brother. Glad Brandon and Rachel won. They are engaged - wonder when the wedding will be.
Sandie
Great post.
I'm about the same with Halloween. I'm always glad when it's over.
So you like pizza? Cute!
I told my husband we have to go out to eat somewhere on Halloween. I refuse to buy candy because I'll eat it all.....and I surely don't need to gain another ounce! :)
I saw the commercial for Rachel and Brendon! Too Funny!
It's weird, but I loved Halloween until I had kids. Now with all the sppoky decorations in the neighborhood, the creepy books at school, the scary costumes, and the constant anticipation, my six-year-old is having nightmares. Nobody's sleeping and I'd be just as happy to skip straight to Thanksgiving. But maybe next year...
I have a diaper in my frige. No joke...something was drippin' and wah~la!!! Heeehehehe!
My motto is..."Whatever works"!
God bless ya and have a beautiful day!!!
cold. meh no oranges chicos cow injections no i am being short because my little dog, lexie is asleep in my arms. love
I so knew you would say a Pizza place :)
I agree with the trust thing. Way to go on your answer!
I so knew you would be watching the doc like I did. LOVED it and what the women had to say!
Hehe love Rachel and Brendon.
I'm thinking if we plopped a good part of Chicago in your town, you'd be sitting pretty!
I actually don't like Halloween all that well, and yet I love the candy and the kids in their costumes and the few costume parties I've gone to have been a blast.

we have a boo boo pack in our freezer.
I still havent' found a good pizza place here in Jacksonville. I know what you mean.
