1. Do you put Christmas decorations in every room of your house? If not every room, what rooms do you decorate?
I normally put Christmas decorations in the family room, kitchen, dinning room, living room and guest bath.
2. If you could visit one of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) which one would you choose and why?
Good question and I don't know. I'm thinking Norway but I don't have a reason.
3. What does the word faith mean to you?
Faith to me is believing in God and that fact the I will live happily ever after in Haven when I leave this earth. Faith is also believing in what you cannot see.
4. You can go back to your childhood for one day...what day and age would you choose?
Well I would love to go back to Christmas Eve, they were the best! Almost any age would do, they were all great.
5. When did you last have 'punch'? If it's not too much trouble share your favorite punch recipe.
It was years ago so I don't have a current recipe but I am sure Pinterest has a few!
6. Do you fill stockings at your house? Are stockings opened before or after the bigger gifts?
We do not do stocking anymore but will start up again when we have grandchildren. We will also do St. Nicholas on December 6th which we did when I was little and also for my children when they were young.
7. What takes your breath away?
Joyce you have stumped me many times today! My brain is on Christmas mode and not working well right now. I am going to say my children's faces, the mountains, the sunset, clouds, fireworks and tiny miniature things.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Remember when I mentioned that my sweet young friend had her baby a few weeks ago. Well Amber & I were able to go and spend the day with them on the 5th. I got to hold this sweet little girl for a few hours. (Amariah Joy) I was in Heaven! The sweet little owl with her name and life verse was made by my blog friend Christina on Etsy.

Hey,Deb! Just the other month, my daughters and I were talking about going somewhere people don't ordinarily choose to go, like Iceland. I'm sure any of the Nordic countries are beautiful but way to cold for this Texas girl. My grown kids still love their stockings, so I suppose we'll forever do stockings. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Oh, we still do stockings at our house. They're not filled with anything pricey...just fun, silly stuff. My girls would be so sad if we didn't do them, anymore, so I have to keep the tradition alive!
I love reading your answers :) one day I will do this.
Merry Christmas!
Like you I'm having a hard timd finding the time to post. Such a busy time of hear! Great answers this week.
Aww, precious baby girl! I still get a stocking : )
I think any Nordic country would be neat to visit! :-)
Your friend's little girl is beautiful! Congrats to her and her family! :-)
Thanks for the baby pictures - love them!
It seems that doing St. Nicholas on Dec. 6 has become quite popular again. I've been hearing/reading of so many who've been doing it.
Love this post...
I decorate in the kitchen, dining room, living room,tv room and downstairs bath.
I love your Nordic countries answer and your Faith answer too. We fill stockings for each other even though it's just the two of us.
Cute baby
xo
great post for sure.. I loved the ending the most.. Have an amazing day..
love ur answers.. new baby's are so precious! love the pictures!
What a sweet baby, and I love that little owl! Norway, huh? It's never even crossed my mind!
Christmas Eve for me too!!!
I'm glad you're allowing yourself a lot more time off the computer these days. It makes me smile to see you living more of life, because I know you want that!
I love that you were able to see the new baby!
I think my kids would kill me if I stopped their stockings. That's their favorite part!
what a cutie!
Oh what a neat owl...and that baby looks SO sweet!!
Such a sweet baby! I bet it was a joy to hold her! It does seem like Joyce always comes up with great questions to pose to you guys! I liked your answer about faith! We used to do stockings on 12/6 when I was growing up too :)
have a good day!
betty
Awww she is the sweetest. I would love to visit Sweden. That is where my mom's mom side is from so I think it would be neat. We do stockings here and it's the first thing the kids dump and forget about lol.
Debby that little baby is adorable...her sweet face....I just want to reach out and hold her. Funny how babies change you....again...loved all your answers....
:) baby girl.
Loved your answers and getting to know you better - Norway - I'd go to Ireland...sandie
My mind is on Christmas mode, too, Debby! What a beautiful baby girl, I know you enjoyed the time spent with her :)
That owl looks so cute.
That baby and those children, are just so sweet! What a cute little owl too! There is nothing that compares to holding a new life in your arms and smelling that new baby smell! What a gift!
I agree...Christmas Eve was a pretty magical time as a child...what a perfect choice if given the chance to go back to it for one day! I remember being filled with such a beautiful anticipation.
The baby is a cutie! I like number three. I'm thinking Iceland but I don't have a reason. To go back too! I don't remember a date but I was seventeen. Trish
Cute baby. I'd be all about choosing Denmark.
Seriously the sweetest baby!! I couldn't think of any time in my childhood but I like your answer.....really was the best when we were little the magic of the season...! Have a wonderful day!
She is so precious!!!!
Christmas is one of our fav times of year so we decorate most of the house too :D
I think Christmas Eve would be at the top of my list too, for similar reasons. My parents did a great job at building the suspense for Christmas morning.
I think maybe you need a guest house where it can be Christmas all the time because it is a bit of a shame that you have to put all of your goodies away.
What a precious baby girl! I can understand why enjoyed spending time with her!
Believe it or not, I've never heard of the December 6th tradition - where have I been!
I bet your Christmas decorations are gorgeous!
Just hoppin' by to answer your question about reading glasses. Yes, I own a few pairs of reading glasses! Ha Ha I have a pair for every room in the house. Lately, I've had to resort to wearing TWO pairs to read fine print! I used to laugh at Ed for doing this--it works! LOL
Yeah for new babies and Christmas!!! I am a Polegian (my dad second generation from Poland and my mom second generation from NORWAY!) I would love to go to those places but I am too much of a homebody I think... (meaning not in any rush to fly across the oceans!) <3
Christmas is the only holiday I really decorate for and I have Christmasy stuff in every room. Not tons of it, but at least something.
