Ta Da
So when I was finishing up "you know what" (that I am not talking about anymore!) I could not resist taking picture of these two adorable Hallmark ornaments. These kind of little things just make me so incredibly happy. The refrigerator is from 2007 "Holiday Fridge" which sold for $20.00. The oven is from 2004 "Christmas Cookies" which sold for $25.00 but is going for around $149.00 now. Listed as hard to find. You really can't get any cuter than this. The oven has a plug to go into the tree which I don't use but it had a scented thingy that would smell like baking cookies. The oven door open and there is a tray of cookied inside.
Each year I will keep out something new that I received that is a Christmas decoration. So this year it is the Jim Shore Santa holding a rooster. Isn't it cute? He will sit with my everyday Jim Shore pieces this year.
So when it comes to getting you know what done....
all my giraffe's are now in a row!
For those of you who may be interested in the SAG (screen actors guild) Awards, they are on Sunday evening on TNT or TBS. They will be honoring Mary Tyler Moore!
There is a new post today over at Debby's Tree. Some after Christmas purchases.
A few flowers that are blooming in the yard.

What a super cute ornament. I love the bokeh in that one photo. I love your flower photos Debby.
I haven't even been in my front yard to see if I have any flowers blooming. We drive up in the back and everyone use's the back all the time. It must be a lot warmer where you are. Sounds like you are sitting on a gold mine with all the ornaments you have.
I have the refrigerator and it is truly one of my favorite ornaments!! I am drooling over the oven though which I somehow never saw or I would have bought if for sure - it is so cute....and it goes so well with the fridge...Wahhhhhhh!!!
Glad you got the - "Tree that shall not be named" - all put away for another year!!!
Have A Super Day!!!!
What wonderful ornaments. Those are the cutest! I like the Santa too. Your flowers are beautiful. Do they normally bloom this early or is it because of the weather?
until next time... nel
Debby, I totally love the stove and fridge ornaments! I also checked out Debby's Tree and will go back to read some more. What a stellar idea! I've wanted to photograph and journal about all the ornaments on our tree one by one. There are a lot of special ornaments that were mine before I met my husband, but starting with our first Christmas when we were dating, we've picked out one dated ornament every year. But they are all special and all have a story. I really love your idea!
In Ohio, we're probably about 5-6 weeks away from any buds, but there WILL be photos! :)
I love Jim Shore pieces. I have a snowman that I just had to leave out a little longer.
We're a good couple of months away from any blooms in this area, longer than that here at our house (since I failed, once again, to plant any spring bulbs last fall).
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
I absolutely love the old time fridge!
The ornaments are so beautiful.
I bet it makes you sad to take it down. Only a few short months and you can decorate it again!
I love that you keep something up during the year. That is sweet.
What lovely ornaments.
Good for you getting that big job done! I love the frig: )
Those ornaments are cute, but that Santa is adorable.
so happy to hear about your you know what....love the ornaments.
You are getting your giraffes in a row for sure. And your tree is almost down. Love your ornaments.
I heard that she is dying - Mary Tyler Moore - did she?
Love, sandie
Your ornaments are adorable. We foolishly donated a turquoise washer and dryer that we inherited with our house a few years ago. They were Maytag and even had the panel with knobs light up for nightlights. Should have kept them and seen if the movie industry was interested. Drats.
I LOVE those cute little ornaments!!!!! ADORABLE!!! and WAY TO GO on getting it done! (I commented on your pic on FB too). I am so far behind on blogging and reading but since I saw this post listed on my blog, I thought I would pop over and read it! Love the flower pics too!!! Hugs- L
Love the flowers & those ornaments are so cute.
Love , Love that old fridge.
You've been busy! Love the kitchen ornaments! So unique!
Love those vintage looking kitchen ornaments. So cute. Oh, I wish we had flowers blooming here....except then there'd be a freeze and it would kill them all. :/ It's been an odd winter. My lilies have started to come up a couple of times. The day after Christmas I saw Cherry blossoms in Pittsburgh! I think Mother Nature needs meds!! lol
I love to collect new ornaments too :-)
wow, love that refrigerator and oven and I like the one you kept out for the year. How cool this blog is!
The picture of the little stove with the tree in the back is just awesome.
Woohoo! You finally finished up Christmas! You really have the most impressive Hallmark ornament collection ever!
LOL! I'm sure you're not the only person in the world who has that problem. I can hardly stand to keep my tree up past December 26. It just looks so lonely without all the gifts under it.
LOVE the ornaments! Wow! Whodathunk that our old Hallmark ornaments would rise in value like that! I haven't checked on mine, so thanks for the heads-up.
The daffodils are in flower here and a yard covering of which I know not the name. Those blooms you have are beautiful! You most likely stay a bit warmer than we do; however, NETexas is due to have 60-70 degree temps all week.
Take care, my CA friend!
those are cute!! haha about the giraffes in a row!
pretty flowers
Those little giraffes are so cute!
Sandy
No flowers in Chicago yet! But with the warm weather we've been having, I expect it won't take long before the crocuses come up.
Those ornaments are so neat! I can see why you wanted to share them :-)
Congrats on finishing up with the Christmas decor!
I can't believe you have flowers already! We've had a super mild winter so far this year, but the flowers will probably still be holding off for a few more months.
What pretty ornaments :) I have never thought of them as something rare whose value goes up so much over time!
Love the kitchen ornaments. I can see why they make you happy. I also keep some piece of Christmas out all year. This year there are several things - all new for Christmas 2011 and I couldn't decide what to put away so kept them all out.
My family's just used to my Christmas obsession. :)
OMGosh I'm so wanting those ovens! How freaking amazing!! And holy crap that is a jump in value!
