1. What is something you are loving right now?
I've been on a kick to see nominated movies, or movies with actors who have been nominated for Academy Awards and it has been so much fun. I am loving that right now.
2. Paris, Venice, New York, and Rome are considered four of the most romantic cities in the world. Which one would you most like to visit?
Since I was in Paris last June I am going to say New York. I really, really want to visit New York!
3. Are you a romantic?
Yes I am 100% and a therapist once told me that I read too many romance novels, that real life really isn't like that. Unfortunately for me that is true.
4. What's your favorite love story made for the Big Screen?
I could list dozens, they are my favorite type of movie to watch. I am going to say "A Lot Like Love", "The Mirror Has Two Faces" and "Notting Hill."
5. Everyone loves Pooh bear and friends...which character are you most like and why?
I haven't got a clue, I really don't know them well. I do think Piglet is the cutest!
6. What's the best chocolate something you've ever eaten?
I actually went to ask Mark if he remembers anything that I may have said that about. He reminded me that I seldom go crazy over chocolate. I love Cheesecake! I do however like a Frango Mint, Mint Meltaways from Fannie Mae, Dove Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cups.
7. Share a favorite quote about love.
Well the most famous one is "Love Means Never Having to Say Your Sorry" from Love Story, 1970. Then you have "You Had Me at Hello" from Jerry Mcguire, 1996. I happen to like this one from Notting Hill, 1999, “Don’t forget I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.”
8. Insert your own random thought here.
I want to thank everyone who prayed for Bridget from bowling. She did pass away last week. Her family was at bowling yesterday and they are doing as well as can be expected. I will be attending her Memorial Service on Saturday.

I so so want to go to New York too.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Debby. Keeping you in my prayers!
New York is my choice, too! So very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Praying for peace and comfort for you and the family.
I've been to New York and I must say that I was not impressed. Guess I don't do crowds very well. I'm sorry for your loss. Great movie quotes.
You should definitely come to NY!
I'm so sorry for your loss and will add her family to my prayers today.
Can you believe I live in NY and have never been to the city? My husband cannot bear the crowds, but hopefully we get there this year. Again, I'm sorry for the loss of Bridget prayers for the entire family.
I'm a hopeless romantic too with a very unromantic husband. He sometimes surprises me, but not often. I can't complain because he's the best husband, but a little romance would be nice.
I want to go to NY too!
I'm so sorry about your friend. It's sad when we lose a friend.
Take care!
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.
I would like to go to NYC, but I doubt if we ever get there. Too many beaches to visit! ;-)
I so loved New York and I am so very sorry about your bowling friend. I lost my best friend of 20+ years back in December...I will be praying for her family....and you.
I want to go to New York!!
I love Piglet too! mmm dove chocolate :)
so sorry about ur bowling friend :(
*hugs*
I'm not a huge cheesecake fan but I had a brownie cheesecake once that was yum.
Sending a prayer for Bridget's family for peace and healing. I'm so sorry.
Debby, YOU should absolutely visit New York at Christmas! The city is decked out, lots of Christmas lights and there is just a classic Christmas movie feel. When I'm there at Christmas I feel like an extra in Miracle on 49th Street. My husband is from New York, so we visit family, some live in the city, during the holidays. I’m the “country girl,” compared to growing up in New York City, member of the family and I’m always wide-eyed at Christmas.
It’d really combine your love of Christmas and movies…in a wonderfully romantic way! :)
My favourite love story would be 'an affair to remember'. Although, scratch that. My favourite love story (that made me cry buckets and buckets) is Haachi, about a dog who loved his master so much that he kept waiting for him at the trainstation even after his master had passed away.
I never thought of New York as a romantic place. I don't think I'm familiar with A Lot Like Love and The Mirror Has Two Faces so I'm gonna check them out on Netflix. But Love Story. I have always hated that movie. Too cheesy for me. LOL
Sorry to hear about your friend.
I ran the NYC marathon in 2010 and it was an incredible experience - what a way to see the city! I'd have to pick Rome I think, just because I just finished watching the HBO series.
Many prayers with your friends family!
I would love to visit New York. I'm with you girl a little too on the romantic thinking :). Great love story picks!
I'm cheesecake girl too and chocolate is great but I could eat more cheesecake :)
Oh, you didn't take the test...I would have said Pooh if I hadn't done the test. I often quote his, "Oh, Bother".
I don't know the movies that are nominated. I think I'll check it out. Sounds like a good thing to love doing.
Mama Bear
Oh my gosh you know about Franco Mints - aren't they the BEST! We get them once a year here now at Macy's.
And I want to go to Greece.
I am definitely a romantic.
I am sorry for the passing of your friend Bridget. Hugs.
sandie
So sorry for the loss of your friend. You will be in my prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. ((HUGS))
I agree with Piglet being the cutest from Winnie the Pooh :-)
I am so sorry about your friend Bridget. Prayer for your loss and her family. New York is way to big for this midwest gal. But I would love to go to England. Mostly because of the romantic novels I have read set in England.
sorry about the loss of your friend....I can take or leave chocolate...
I am so sorry for your friend Debby and sad that I didn't know. I have been so busy that I haven't been blogging hardly at all or reading them.
You and I would get along well... I love cheesecake~ preferably with cherries or some kind of fruit. I don't need chocolate either. I hope to catch up on your blog soon!
Hugs-
L
I just said a prayer for Bridget. SOrry for your loss of a bowling mate.....Christine
I love the Love Quotes you chose - those are some of my favorites also!
As for the 4 romantic cities. I have been to all 4 with my husband and I actually don't think Rome is particularly Romantic. For me it is a toss up between Paris and Venice!
Dove chocolate is delicious :)
How can you read too many romance novels??! I love a good romance!
I'm so sorry about your friend.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
I love to read romance novels!
Oh, you definitely should go to NY, it is wonderful! I wouldn't want to live there, but it's a great place to visit.
Enjoyed your answers, Hodgepodge is always fun! Blessings!
So which one of the nominated movies is your favorite so far?
Oh my gosh, Frango mints are delicious!
I'm sorry to hear about Bridget.
I liked visiting New York and some European cities, but I tend to find smaller towns more romantic that big cities.
