I can make an awesome burger on the grill or sometimes I have a taste for a Red Robin burger or the ever famous In-N-Out burgers. But sometimes I am looking for a quick fix meal and this is one of them. A few years ago we came across the Angus Beef Patties at Costco and they are pretty darn good. They are easy to make in the microwave or you can grill them. For the Easy Peasy Patty Melt I will make open face grilled cheese sandwiches while the burgers are in the microwave and then just place the patty between the cheesy bread. There you have it and with the help of the low carb bread we bought at the Julian Bakery this was a low carb Patty Melt!
I also made these zucchini pizzas a few weeks ago. They are so easy and low carb. I think they baked for about 30 minutes. You can find them on Pinterest, I see them all the time.
I found this on Pinterest and tried it a few weeks ago. You use grapefruit and kosher salt to clean your shower or tub. I used it in my shower and I think it did a pretty good job. I started with the glass and used the grapefruit without the salt. The best part is that it didn't bother my lungs at all which under normal circumstances the chemicals in cleaners will set me back for days.

How and where do you rent a usb port that gives you internet at your dad's?
Now that I have my Galaxy Tab, it will use a cell phone signal to become a wifi hot spot and that has solved my vacation need of internet problem - - - but for YEARS before that I WISHED for some temporary "fix" I could rent, alas I never found one.
I, too, am interested in how/where you rent a USB port that gives you internet. Our favorite hotel in Hilton Head charges for wi-fi ... and renting a USB port might be less expensive ... worth looking into.
I've been hungry for Red Robin for some time now. I'm not much into burgers, but I've been craving one of theirs!
That looks good. darn, I was just at Costco on saturday! I think I may have to go back soon! Have a great time with your Dad.
Blessings, Joanne
Debby,
Shall I remind you of your blog title? 'Just Breathe'...sometimes when we feel tired and overwhelmed, that's the thing to do...now the patty melt might be delicious if it were made with a turkey burger :)
That bread looked delish. And did the grapefruit really clean - as good as bleach or ?? You and fun and don't worry. sandie
I use a dryer sheet to clean my tub. The thing has a protective coat on it and the cleaners that could not be used were a mile long. The softeners in the sheet whisk away water spots and their ruff enough to scrub away and build~up.
That pizza looks fabulous! The Ponderosa is a beef/grain operation so I'm fortunate enough to have a freezer full of beef. I grill up big batches of burgers and freeze 'em in twos.
Works great and Farm Boy always has to ask if they are fresh cooked or nuked! Heeehehehe!
God bless ya and have a sunshiny kinda day!!! :o)
Hope you are enjoying your time with your dad.
Costco definitely has great burgers!
Happy sunny week!
Those look fantastic!!!!!! I can't remember the last time I actually had red meat in a burger. Usually we have turkey burgers but those get so old after awhile!
Hope you're having a great time!
WOW those meals look great and living low carb is getting easier and easier. Love my low carb bread as well. Have fun visiting with your dad.
Have mercy...that sounds so GOOD!
I am going to try these soon! They sound yummy.
Enjoy your visit with your Dad...blessings my friend!!!
I love the zucchini pizza idea. We did something similar once but I will have to look this up :)
