So I am going to share the goodies I made this week for my friends children at bowling. The first thing I made are called Ultimate Easter Crispy Treat by Dough Puncher Baked Goods which I found on......Pinterest. Duh!....isn't everything there?
I really wasn't sure how they would turn out. They have chopped up Peeps, Sprinkles and Sixlets in them. Well I got two thumbs up from Amber & Dylan. I also, in my opinion, came up with the best way to slice krispie treats. These are a little stickier then normal krispie treats so I was going to reach for a flat edge frosting thingy that I have and noticed my french fry cutter. It was perfect! I let them stand out for awhile to firm up.
Next I made the cute little nests with some M&M Peanut Butter eggs in the center. Now there are a lot of recipes floating around Pinterest and on blogs but I have to say even though they may have inspired me I did have a recipe in mind for making these. I have been making the recipe on the back of China Boy Chow Mein noodles for years. Maybe as many at 15+ years!
They are their Noodle Clusters but I did not put nuts in the nests. You can make them with any kind of chip you want. I love the chow mein noodles with butterscotch chips but I thought these nests would look cute with white chocolate chips. Now Amber and Dylan were really pleased when I forgot to grease my muffin tins the first time and I had to make a second batch! So I spooned them into (greased) muffin tins, pushed down the middle and added a small amount of melted chips in the center to help hold the eggs in place. Two thumbs up on this one too!
NOODLE CLUSTERS
12 oz. Chocolate Chips
1 cup Peanuts (not used for nests)
3 1/2 Cups Chow Mein Noodles
Melt chips in double boiler (I use Microwave)
Stir melted chocolate into the noodles & nuts
Drop onto waxed paper to form clusters (cool)
(This recipe is from China Boy Chow Mein Noodle Package)
P.S. Ashley(one of the moms)at bowling said this to me on Facebook: "OH MY GOODNESS! Those rice crispy treats you made are so AMAZING! I must get the recipe."

Everything looks great. You know what I really love? Shoe string fries (the kind that come in a can in the chip aisle) covered in melted butterscotch. I bet those would make good nests too.
