I have no will power, then you add Amber to this and it's a lost cause! You should see the two of us together and the "OMG that is so cute" that you hear out of our mouth dozens of times. I was never good at saying no. I had a very hard time punishing her when she was younger. I think I'm a little better at it now. When I would punish her on a night that had a favorite TV show I would tape it on our VCR so she could watch it the next day. So I have a hard time saying no when we shop and I'm pretty sure she knows that by now :o !
So after our delicious lunch at The Cheesecake Factory we shopped at the Tyler Mall. We found lots of things we wanted. Besides owls Amber collects Matryoshka dolls. Sometimes they call them Babushka dolls. Of course we could not pass up the cute little pillow or the cabinet with colorful drawers. It's funny that we seldom go shopping for clothes, we are always into the nik nak kind of stuff!

I got myself two new pieces for my Pandora Bracelet. I wanted to start adding some color to it and I'm really happy with what I bought. Then I found some cute S&P shakers that I just had to have. Then we hit up Bath & Body Works which is never a good idea. They have so many specials all the time that you just get drawn into it. We found a Lemon No 1999 Eau De Parfum from C.O.Bigelow that we both liked. Well Amber said we could share it and I thought she could just get it. So we are at the checkout counter and we were told that they were buy two get one free. Well how can you pass that up? So of course we went for it and we gave one to Tristen.
Speaking of Tristen we meet her and Adam at Panda Inn. Wow, the food was as awesome as we remember it. Honestly they have the best Mandarin Cuisine ever. We had a wonderful birthday celebration for Amber.

Then on Sunday I really had to talk myself into going to the mall. Outside the mall they have a Farmer's Market each Sunday. I have heard about it for over a year now but lazy always wins. Well I didn't let lazy win last Sunday! I went and it was wonderful. There were about three ranches that were there that had the most wonderful selections. I'm glad I went and will definitely be going again. I bought some zucchini, green beans, asparagus, avocados, celery and strawberries.
I'm excited that my cumcumbers are growing.
Isn't it adorable?
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

It seems like everyone has a garden except me. :-( Maybe next spring now that we don't have dogs to get into it and make a mess ... and eat all our veggies.
Sounds like all wonderful times Debby! That food at the Panda Inn does look so good!! I like farmer's markets too; I usually forget about going to them; thanks for the reminder!

You just had a marvelous day! I do like going to the farmers market...love the veggie's.
WHERE did you get those S&P's??? Oh my goodness, I'd have had to have them too - - - in fact I think I DO HAVE TO HAVE THEM.
If you've looked at my blog lately, you'll know that I really should just STOP visiting my favorite antique shops as I have this same low will power problem there!
I wish I didn't like to shop and so does my husband!
I think those are some of the prettiest strawberries I've ever seen!
Have a great weekend and be safe!
I'm going to get in some "shopping time" with my daughter this next week and I can't wait. I'm a push over too and yes, she knows it. :o)
We're more into clothes and shoes though.
Happy weekend!
You and your daughter look like you had a great time - I know shopping with your daughter (my daughter) is never a cheap experience. I have never heard of that restaurant - sounds good! sandie

There is a great farmer's market downtown Charleston every Saturday morning. DoodleBug and I are going to start going next weekend. I love Pandora bracelets- They're so pretty- I WANT ONE! :)
I hate shopping for clothes, but nick nacks well that is another story! I have gotten alot better and so my daughter and I will oooh and aaah but try to come back with just the stuff that we really want.....which is everything!!!LOL! Have a great weekend.
Blessings, Joanne
Yes, your baby cucumber is so cute. A lady here has some cucumbers just starting out and we are all watching and waiting.
hah, when I read the word 'willpower' I thought your post was going to be about all kinds of gooey, yummy desserts :) shows where my head was!
How fun! I always think I'm going to sleep through the Farmer's Market when I'm visiting my parents, but then I drag myself out of bed because it's really one of my favorite places to shop with my mom. I can't wait until my girls are interested in coming along!
You crack me up! Our cucumbers aren't bloominng yet and those strawberries look delicious.
So many of my favorite things - the Cheesecake Factory ... shopping ... gardens ... thanks for the virtual shopping and eating day!
In one of the photos is a glass on wine and a Corona Beer, you didn't mention them...We have Zucchini running out our ears, no cukes yet.
My sister wanted to go to B&B works while she was here and yes they have good specials...I like the Warm Vanilla Sugar because a friend told me several years ago that it smelled wonderful...being as I can't smell, I have to take someone else's word for it, although I know what vanilla smells like...I wanted some lotion that smelled sort of like roses because a relative gave me a bottle from Victoria's Secret years ago and they discontinued it...so my sister smelled of the Japanese Cherry Blossoms and told me it was a go so I bought some of it, then they said any of the classic scents were buy 3 get 3 free so I bought her a Sweet pea which is her favorite, then got extras of the other scents.
Blessings,
Mama Bear
Looks like you are a great shopper!
Love your Pandora bracelet.
We went to our local Farmers Market in the rain this last Friday.
Your cucumber is huge!!!! I'm still covering my plants at night because it's been so cold here.
i am the opposite. i hate to shop. :)
have a good day tomorrow.
Oh, I could very well dole out the punishments but felt so guilty afterward. My three sons kept me busy. The two girls were harder. Love the little baby cuke! That farmer's market looks amazing! Happy Birthday to Amber!
I'm not so much on saying no either. It's hard!
Very cute cuke - so exciting to see them coming in.
Wow what fun and great finds!
The dinner looks so yummy!!! Your cucumber is very adorable :)
