So I left you hanging on Monday with a picture of what arrived last Friday. Well it is a Cubby Organizer that I found at Pottery Barn. It was in their latest catalog and Mark said I should get it. Well when you husband says okay you need to jump on it. It was only available online and I didn't want to have to return it if I didn't love it.
Well I didn't jump on it but when they sent me an email with an extra 15% off anything I decided it was a good time to order it and give it a try.
I have wanted something on my kitchen wall for several years now. Actually about 5 1/2 years now! I have a collection of Salt and Pepper shakers that I use to have out in my last house but in our new home I couldn't find a place to display them.
It was hard to photograph on the wall since the sliding door is right next to it. All of these S&P's will not remain on it. Mark wanted me to fill it up so I got some of my holiday ones out in order to fill it up. I had stopped buying them since I didn't have a place to display them but I will definitely begin again! Maybe I will even take some down at Christmas to display others that I have or like some people guessed it might be fun to display special ornaments in the cubbies at Christmas.
We are really happy with it!

Love it! My daddy always built those when we were kids and they were called shadow boxes! I love all the salt and pepper shakers!!!

So glad you found something for your wall! It's great that you'll finally be able to display your collection!
So adorable. I love your collections too.
Prefect for your collection...so nice. Happy Friday
Adorable. I have a collection of small china boxes that are wrapped in newspaper in a box somewhere in the basement because I have no place to display them. This would be perfect.
Off to shop on line...
That is cute!
That's wonderful, and I'm so glad that you are able to see some of your favorite things again since you have room to show them off!
That was a great find and it looks perfect in that corner by the door! Salt and Peps are hard to collect because to really show them you need twice the space! What a great way to channel it!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Marmelade Gypsy and commenting on my France posts! Such a fun spot to be. I'm glad you came over!
How cute!! I like how you displayed them, Debby! Very neat collection :)

It was just like CHRISTMAS 'round here when I walked in the door from camp yesterday late afternoon! FH said, "A box arrived for you" and I KNEW what it probably was.
Oh my - - - they are even cuter in person than through cyberspace.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Oh wow, I love your collection!!
Hi, stopping by from SITS sharefest. Your blog banner is adorable. I love pennants!
It looks great. Any time your husband supports you in a decorating idea, I say run with it.

Now, I do love that and a whole lotta other stuff from Pottery Barn. What a neat way to display smaller items. I love it!
Ah, you tricked us by showing it at a diagonal and all wine-racky. But looks perfect for the salt and pepper shakers.
