This is my view today!
Heading to Florida to visit my Dad
in Palm Harbor.
I will also be seeing my sister, brother-in-law, two nieces,
three great-nieces and great-nephew!
Mark is also in the air today heading to Texas. We went to the airport together. He will be doing some business in Dallas and then he will see his mom in Houston. Then on the weekend he has a bachelor golf weekend with his brothers. The party is for his brother who is getting married in September in Illinois.
So basically I have nothing going on right now and you know I've been in a blogging slump for a few weeks. I have friends visiting the end of August and bowling starts back September 4th so I made a last minute decision to visit with my Dad. I will be with him for about 16 days. I spent last week cleaning house and washing the floors so I think it's a great time to get away. It is nice having the kids living here because I can take off and leave Skye in good hands. Someone is always home!
So of course with Mark always traveling he has mileage we can use for my ticket. Since we booked late there was only one isle seat left and it cost $89.00! Yes it is that important to me, especially because when the plane stops in Houston I don't change planes so I will be in the seat a long time. But the fun part is that on the way home they put me in First Class with lunch and dinner. Sorry, I always think that is a fun treat and I'm really excited about it. Now I have to cross my fingers and hope that there are no changes to that plan :) Not bad for $89.00!
I should have Internet, providing my phone 3G Mobile Hotspot works, so hopefully you will be hearing from me while I am gone but please know that my time with my Dad is really important to me. (Remember he turned 89 in June) So if you don't hear from me I know you will understand. Time is precious and I know you will all be here when I get home.
I am sure I will have updates on my Facebook page so if you follow me there you will be hearing from me. If you don't follow me....what are you waiting for? I love all of you very much. I don't know where I would be today if I didn't have all of you in my life.
Hugs,
P.S. Would appreciate prayers for our safety.

Oh, have such a good time with your Florida family! That's what my grands call us! ;) They are from CA too!
I absolutely know what you mean by an aisle seat! It is a must for me! Sadly, I don't travel much and have never been in first class except to walk through on my way to the back! :)
Wish you were nearer to the panhandle and I could see you!

Thanks for stopping by my blog as well :-). Your blog is very encouraging.
Enjoy your trip with your family. Both my parents and both sets of grandparents have passed. Appreciate them while you can. Visit as often as you can. Time can be short.
Your grandpups are absolutely adorable! Love the ears! lol! I have two little ones of my own, a purebread rate terrier, Mumzie and a chichuaua (ck sp)/dashund mix, Bella. Mumz is 5 years old and Bella is 9 mos old. I recently got Bella because Mumz was lonely after my kids moved out lol!
