1. In your opinion what's the most important job in the world? Oh, and parenting
is a given so besides parenting, what's
the most important job in the world?
I'm going to say our military personal who are protecting our country. Next to being a parent I am going to say those awesome doctors and nurses who save the babies who are born early. The ones who give their all to keep those little cuties alive.

2. Share a favorite or not so favorite memory from a childhood birthday.
Honestly I don't remember any of my birthday parties as a child. Wait....hold the phone! I remember a party that I had when I was in HS, maybe freshman year. (I wasn't a child per say)My father managed a movie theatre so we got to go and eat at the restaurant next door and we all got to sit up in the balcony to watch a movie. We all had big boxes of popcorn and drinks. That was in the late 60's. I have no clue what we saw but I remember kissing my boyfriend at the time.
3. Peanut butter-crunchy or smooth?
3. Peanut butter-crunchy or smooth?
I have always been smooth but recently have changed to crunchy....so there you have it!!!
4. William Butler Yeats is credited as saying, "Happiness is neither virtue nor pleasure nor this thing nor that but simply growth, We are happy when we are growing." Your thoughts?
Well if you are growing you must be doing something that you like at the time and that would bring you happiness. Growth can bring change and hopefully it's for the better. That's all I've got!
5. What's something that makes you cringe?
Animals being abused.
6. Name a song that always puts you in a good mood?

If you see me on Facebook you may have seen this. I found that I was able to swim when I was in Florida without getting winded. Light swimming and just walking back and forth. So when I go home I thought I should check out our pool which is part of our association which we pay for. This is it and it's wonderful. So I went three times last week and had the pool to myself. The sad part is that after Labor Day they don't heat it anymore. I'm going to try to keep going until I can't stand the cold water anymore. We may be very warm during the day but our evenings get cool so I'm not sure how much longer I can do it.

I'd love to jump into that pool right now lol - I love these hodgepodges, too! :)
Good morning, Debby!
Ooh...that pool looks so inviting! I have no tolerance for animal abuse, either. If there's an article about it in local paper, I can't bear to read it because it disturbs me so much.
Great answer to #1-and these professionals are the ones who get 'thanked' for doing their job. I need to jump in your pool-right about now.
Love the animal answer, I don't like those either. Even seeing time on FB upset me. Keep swimming as long as you can!
Good on you and the swimming. Hope the water stays okay for a while.
Aha!!! Kissing in the balcony....no wonder you don't remember the movie playing.
Check out a local Y....they usually have an indoor pool and they offer a variety of water 'aerobics' too...some are for those with health issues who need gentle exercise.
I like your answer to #7 : )
You have a pool?
Now I am jealous...Lol...
That is awesome you are swimming I have read it is great excercise I love swimming although I am not great at swimming.Always make sure there is a lifeguard, or have a buddy system never swim alone, okay? Now I am worried...am I losing it?...Lol...
Hee hee, I just came from the pool. Blessings to you Debby and thank you always for your encouragement.
That pool looks inviting! How lucky you are to have access to a pool.
I don't remember many of the movies I saw as a teenager ... movie theaters were perfect for kissing. ;-)
So no wonder you love movies! You got it naturally. I had my second kiss in the movie theater and promptly broke up with the guy. I discovered that kisses were a huge part of attraction for me. SHhhhhh......don't tell my mama!
I think so often of the military men and women. I read recently about a mother, father and grandmother who were all being deployed and their children would be staying with relatives. I don't understand that at all.....I don't agree with sending both parents to war zones.
I love that pool! But I do know how cold it gets at night in California and cold nights cool pools down quickly! But it's great exercise although this summer I wouldn't know as it's rained so much! :)
Your b'day memory was fun!
I hope you are able to enjoy your pool for a bit longer. I always enjoyed the gentle exercise of walking or paddling gently in the pool, too.
I love Wed. hodgepodge too. I cringe to even think of animals being abused. We had this 'weird' family at the nursing home who brought a little dog in to visit the patient. I felt so sorry for that little dog because I could tell the family was very rough with it. I finally said something to the owner one day about something I saw him do, and I swear, it got worse after that. I think he was trying to be 'in my face' with it. :((
That is awesome that you've found a way to get some exercise without getting winded! Yay! :-) I hope that the weather stays nice for a while for you. Maybe there is an indoor pool nearby for when it gets cooler?
I agree with you on most of your answers. Loved number 7. I love a warm pool too. I am not fond of getting into one that is cold.
Kissing your boyfriend in the balcony at the movies? Scandalous! LOL I love you answer to #7- and I love it too! I'm so glad you found out about swimming! Our rec department has a heated pool that is open year 'round- and they have times for people to go in and swim when the kids aren't in there and times for just lap swimming and then water aerobics which just has women 50 and older in there. Maybe you have something like that in your area? If not, you'll just have to move here with me and we'll go together!
Kissing in the movie theatre balcony! Tht's a perfect teenage memory! (And I think it's something from a bygone era.)
Sounds like a great birthday!
I'm glad you can enjoy swimming now, I hope you find a way to continue.
I'm so glad you are using the pool, it's such great exercise and if it doesn't hurt your lungs that is awesome!!
Great post as always my dear :)
Lovely Pool...makes me want to learn to swim!
It's so cool that you found out you could swim comfortably! The buoyancy of the water makes it easier in a lot of ways!
Animal abuse is something that makes me cringe too. I loathe the thought of abusing innocents; animals and children should never be anything but loved.
I always look forward to your answers...
I just switched to crunchy too!!!
What a beautiful pool! Here's to stretching out the fun as long as possible.
I still prefer smooth, but lately I'm sooooo much more interested in crunchy than I used to be. Especially since trying Planters new granola cinnamon raisin pb - yum!
Your pool looks lovely! I never was a pool person, but lately I've been enjoying floating around in them. Enjoy while you can! It's cooling off here already.
Thanks again for your donation!
Birthday kisses on the balcony?! You naughty, naughty girl!
love reading your answers and it's sooo hot today I'd love to jump in that pool!!!!! Have a great day tomorrow....
I hope you are able to keep it up!
Wish I had a pool to jump into! Looks very inviting, especially when the temps here have been well over 100 almost everyday. Water exercise is the best! I love crunchy peanut-butter.
I am still a smooth peanut butter eater. And you know I have very little recall of much before the age of 15 - like you.
