Honestly do you wash, rinse and repeat when you shampoo your hair? (I don't repeat)
I really don't need an answer to that, obviously that is not what this post is about but since I have mentioned this before and haven't seen many results I thought it was worth a repeat!
I am not a fan of Google+ and I don't plan on joining either. Way to many friends of mine have lost all of their photos because of Google+ so be careful. The issue for me is that when you are linked with them you become a no-reply commenter unless you jump through some hoops to change your settings. So here are a few places that can help you with this issue. (If you are not connected to Google+ then you can just go into your settings to fix this)

I'm only saying this because I love to comment back to the comments I get and it makes for a very unhappy camper here when I cannot comment back to you.
I sit here at my computer thinking that you must think I don't care about you but believe me I do. So if you comment on my blog and you don't hear back from me it is because you are a no-reply or I'm dead! Unless for some reason you don't want to be bothered with people emailing you back!

Now don't get me started on WORD VERIFICATION! But I will mention that in my opinion a pop-up screen or the screen that comes up where you can look at the post and comment makes it easier to comment on posts like Wednesday Hodgepodge or Friday Fragments. By the time I read the post and scroll down through all the comments I forget what I want to say in the box at the bottom :( So I have to go up and down several times. (like I said, this is my opinion and some of these changes can make for an easier day when you read and comment on about 70 blogs a day)

I do have Google+ but for some reason it hasn't done that to me. yet.
I checked and I'm all good. I accidentally signed into Google+ today, but deleted it. I was afraid it may have messed things up, but all seems ok. That's what I get to doing things without totally understanding what I'm doing. But I'm just a regular Google customer again.
You do such a great job replying too! I always hate it when I can't reply.

And I read that post you suggested - my blog isn't even linked to google plus, so that isn't the problem. I have no idea what the problem is. I can see that my email address is correct. I don't have the "Email follow-up comments" box checked because I don't want to get everyone's comments emailed to me (big mistake - I did that once and got a flood of emails about someone else's blog). But I can't see any other reason why you shouldn't be able to answer my comments.
Also, if I comment on my own blog, it sends me an email from my blog account (undergroundblog11@gmail.com), so it works fine on my blog.
I am not connected to Google+ I did check the follow up comments box...never done that before...see if that makes a difference
Debbie, try a test response - I changed something in my profile - not sure if it makes a difference, but we'll see.
Thank you for letting me know that i was a no-reply! I'm not a fan of Word Verification either...especially when it says to prove that you're not a robot!
How do I answer my own comment? I don't see an individual reply thing set up in your blog. In mine, there is a reply option with each comment.

sometimes I repeat if my hair is really dirty...but usually no....I hear you on the word verification...and not being able to comment back when someone leaves me a comment...just drives me crazy..

Would you tell me if I am no reply now - I fooled around with google + today too - I don't like it either.
When I'm checking out new blogs and I see they have Google +, I usually don't really check out too much; I haven't really checked into too much about it, but it doesn't seem user friendly to me.
It is such a hassle with word verification, but what I don't get is when someone has word verification and then they monitor their comments. Seems redundant to me I do believe!
I don't think I ever washed, rinse and repeated.....

Debby, I'm with you on this. I feel bad when someone comments and when I try to reply and thank them I get the No-Reply thingie. Some people I know their email, so I just email them. lol. (No one is safe from me!) And the word verification thing - hard to do, but I always try to get through it for some of my favorite people that have it. Wish they didn't, but they do. For whatever reason. Oh, and I don't repeat because I have short hair and I think it would be a waste. Ann
When someone new leaves a comment, I like to return the favor and go check out their blog by clicking on their name link. I do the same thing when I see interesting comments on blogs I follow ... I'm always interested in finding new blogs to follow. Unfortunately if the new blogger uses Google+, I'm taken to their Google+ page, not their blog. :-(
Plus, I agree with the pop-up comment box ... so I went to see how I had my blog set ... and changed it to pop-up comments. ;-)

I hate google+ but unfortunately joined before I knew better. I hate being directed to those pages. I have comment moderation enabled (for my sanity with my son's comments) ans if you do that, I see no need for that crazy word verification.......I will do it if it is someone I really want to comment on their blog.
So I'm confused about google + and need you to tell me about it... my new(er) blogs about stealing stuff (Pinterest) and my blog for teachers to blog are newer and I know it posts my things to google... Should I not be doing that? I swear I am writing you when you comment back but maybe I'm not... now I'm confused!!! I may have to comment on myself and then try to reply to myself! ;-)

I am still on the same template as the old blogger... I'm scared to change it, like I might lose something.... grrr....
or i'm dead .. you kill me ... lol couldn't refuse the pun :). I'm so the same way. I have google+ but I didn't link up my blog all the way so you have to click threw things to get to the blog post. I hope I'm coming up with my email, I've never checked.
