....doesn't stay there because I like to talk, however I think the one heated argument with Mark needs to stay there! It was a great trip and I enjoyed myself. I won $250. the first night and I managed to play on it for the days I was there. So no I didn't bring any money home but I enjoyed playing on their money.
I did a lot of walking, did the whole Forum shopping area which is nothing but $$$$ stores. You name a very high class store and it's there. I did mostly window shopping and I didn't buy anything. I also left Caesars Palace and went to a few casinos that are nearby like the Mirage and Flamingo. Each day I was on my own and each evening I meet Mark & Phil for dinner.
I love my Louis Vuitton purses
but I just can't see buying luggage
and letting it get tossed around on a plane.
Dinner Sunday
Dinner Monday
Dinner Tuesday
Dinner Wednesday
Had a little problem with Wednesdays dinner. First of all Aurelio's is one of our favorite Chicago pizzas and we were thrilled when they opened one up in Las Vegas. Not on the strip but in N. Vegas. We have been there a few times. Thin crust, extra sausage and their sauce is very sweet. So we head out for dinner and they were closed/gone! Thankfully there are two so we headed in the other direction, about 30 miles to the other side of Vegas and enjoyed our pizza in Henderson. It is truly one of the best!
One of my favorite things was this shower. I actually showered twice a day. I didn't stay out late, was probably in the room before 9 each night. Pretty much after dinner and each dinner had two bottles of wine for the three of us, I'm just sayin'. Anyway I can't stand crawling into bed smelling like smoke so the evening shower was a must and I just stood in the hot flowing water forever.
So speaking of a shower and obviously being naked in there I am going to share a picture of naked Caesar so if you don't want to see it just close your eyes.
I'm a little concerned that the smoke got to me from Vegas. I actually woke up Thanksgiving Thursday with heavy lungs and started coughing up crap in the afternoon. So please say a pray for me to get well soon since I'm flying on Monday and really need my strength for those two long days at Disney World.
As it turned out Mark and I had Thanksgiving day to ourselves. I used a roaster that I have never used before, it belonged to my mother and possibly my grandmother before her. We had a 16 pound turkey because leftovers are a must! We made it simple with turkey, gravy, stuffing, rolls and I made two cauliflower recipes that you can find here. I was going to work on the trees but decided to clear up some things here on the computer and then rest, catching up on some of my shows.
Later today I will be making some of Amber's favorites like Green Bean Casserole, dressing that hasn't been in the turkey (eats no animals), mashed potatoes and some corn because she was torn between staying home and going to Dylan's family so I told her to go and I'd cook for her today. Isn't that what a mom does when they love their children or am I just a helicopter swooping in to save the day! That's what a therapist told me years ago :(
Have a great weekend everyone......

Your Vegas trip looks awesome!!
Sounds like you had fun Debby and I love that roaster! Take it easy and let your lungs rest. It probably was from the smoke... Ann
I hate smoking because it makes me sick. Too bad Las Vegas can't get rid of it although I suspect it fits with all of the other vices in Vegas. Glad you didn't leave your money behind. Happy Thanksgiving!
It sounds like a great time. But are you still allowed to smoke indoors in the USA? How quaint.
The sculpture's a copy of David, by Michelangelo.
Praying that your lungs will clear up so that you will have the strength to be able to travel on Monday.
Good for you to prepare another Thanksgiving meal today. ;-)
