The T-shirt I bought!
I had the most amazing time in Orlando at Disney World. This post is a little long but I think you will enjoy it. Going to the Mickey's Christmas Party was definitely worth the extra costs. The evening was very crowded but I will say this, if you want to plan a trip to Disney World the week immediately following Thanksgiving is a great time to plan it. The Christmas festivities have began yet The Magic Kingdom during the day was somewhat empty and basically you could get on the rides with very little wait if any at all. I did talk with several park employees and they said it is one of their down weeks. (FYI) Pretty much after that it just keeps getting busier and busier!
We stayed at the Marriott World Resort
They were working on the Gingerbread House
It smelled incredible!
Ate at the steak house our first night.

A few favorites to share

for your children to watch. The next one is the fireworks!
Firework display....excellent!
My day at Epcot....
I also had a fine dinner in Japan. Also what I noticed is that many of
the people working in these countries are actually from the countries!
Santa from France and a few characters....
"The Candlelight Processional"
I would not have seen this if is wasn't for my blog friend Sonya from
A Day in the life... Thank you Sonya.
I had the opportunity to see Neil Patrick Harris who
narrated this performance.
I waited in line for over 2 hours to see this.
I would do it again in an instant!
I am putting up a few videos for you to view.
It will give you an idea of how wonderful it was.
They are not too long but a bit shaky :)

So glad you had a good time! CH went to DisneyWorld with his family for New Year's right before we got married. I've heard Halloween is pretty awesome, too!
Amazing pictures Debby. Looks like so much fun. One day I would love to take my kids there.
That does sound like a great time of year to go. You got so many amazing pictures!
Oh wow what beautiful pictures and a magical time! I love the candlelight processional that is so beautiful. Reminds me of the Singing Christmas Tree my Church puts on.
Love it all! The videos were awesome. Can't wait to see the castle dressed up for Christmas someday. Thanks for sharing!
What a wonderful trip. So glad you were able to do that and see your adorable Father.
Merry Christmas!

Disney T Christmas is simply stunning!
I still want to see the Castle with all the icicle lights! They didn't do that when I was there during Christmas. Magic Kingdom fireworks are still my favorite fireworks of all time. I'm so very happy that you saw the Candlelight Processional! Wasn't it amazing! I got chills just listening to your videos. I'm so glad you captured the monologue before Joy to the World. That is my absolute favorite part of the whole performance. You also got a great narrator and you had great seats! Did you find the CD of it anywhere?
You sure did have a great time. I don't know if I could do all that myself. Nice videos too. I think having the fast pass is the way to go. We have been there - but we didn't get to do all this. I am so glad you had fun. sandie

I love the bright lights and magic of Disney! So glad you've been enjoying yourself.
Reading this made me realize it's been a while since I've been to Disney World. 35 or so years, in fact! Glad you had a great time.
Really like these pictures, especially of the choir and Harris. I'm sure it was spectacular! What a great way to celebrate Christmas!
