This is the last Wednesday Hodgepodge for 2012.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
See you January 2, 2013
THANK YOU JOYCE FOR A WONDERFUL YEAR
1. How will you spend 'the night before Christmas'?
I will try to find a local Christmas Eve service to attend. Then I will watch "It's a Wonderful Life" and maybe another Christmas movie. Our children spend Christmas Eve with their significant others and we get them all on Christmas Day!
2. What is
one thing you are not?
Cold hearted....my heart cares deeply.

3. Fudge-are you a fan? Your favorite
flavor?
I am a fan and haven't decided if I will make any this year! I always enjoy a nice chocolate fudge with walnuts but I also love a praline type of fudge.
4. Did you attend any craft/vendor fairs in the month of
December? Do you prefer homemade goodies or the more professional stalls? Are
you giving any homemade gifts this year?
I did not have the opportunity to go to any craft fairs this year. I do love them. I made some Oreo Rice Krispies Treats for the children at bowling. I will be making a Bohemian Houska for my husband and of course some cookies for the family.
5. What's your favorite type of
holiday gathering?
Always with family is the best!
6. We're approaching a new year...what's going to be
different in 2013?
I will be continuing my diet, it's been 11 months and I have lost 36 pounds this year. The rest I can only say that God knows what lies ahead for me.
7. Share a favorite scripture, quote, saying, or song
lyric relating to peace.
John 14:27(NIV)
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
I don't really have anything random today. These last several days since last Friday have been very hard on me. I pushed forward and worked on things around the house relating to Christmas but it wasn't easy. I stayed off my computer too. I will begin reading posts that I missed today. I just wasn't in the mood. ((HUGS))

We chose the same scripture verse. No opportunity to visit any vendors this year-November is a blur.
I'm hesitant to make fudge this year, 'cause I know I'll eat some :(
Wow, 36 pounds! That's a significant loss, and I'm happy for you. Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas.
Okay, jealous now; I gained this year. :( I was doing really well until August. Then I had some nasty depression issues start to gnaw at me and I'm an emotional eater. I am hopeful 6that the power chair and some freedom will help combat the depressed stints. A job would help too! But I admire 36 down! I lost 40 in 2010 and kept it off until this year. I KNOW hat's not easy. Awesome for you, Debby! My January/February is to get back to where I was and move on.
Since baking makes me crave salad, maybe I should look for baking work, huh? ;) Best of luck to us both in that endeavor!
I'll be watching It's A Wonderful Life on Christmas while the turkey is roasting and David is at work.
Merry Christmas!
I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to make the fudge this year or not either. One day it's yes, the next day it's no. Congrats on the 36 pounds. I'm hoping to get the last 100 off next year. Of course, I've been working on that hundred for quite a while now so, who knows...
I like fudge without nuts. lol
I will go to church Christmas Eve too. Then we will go out to eat.
I love the family too.
You have done so great on your diet.
Love, sandie
I prefer small intimate gatherings to large parties
I'm so with on what is to happen in 2013 :)
I love that scripture!
Congratulations on the weight loss that is awesome!!
I'm slow getting to all the HP's this week. I too have pretty much been off the computer and kept news to a minimum. My heart can't take it right now.
I have really enjoyed getting to know you some through our blogs. Have a very happy Christmas Debby!
