I have a lot of fragments to share so I thought I would join in with Half-past kissin' time this week for her Friday Fragments.
**********
Last Saturday Mark and I went out to eat to celebrate Valentine's Day and we saw Safe Haven which was really good. If you like Nicholas Sparks movies you will definitely like this one.
**********
Yesterday I went out to get my hair done. I was definitely in need of a cut and color and then I went to see Identity Thief. I wasn't sure if I wanted to see it thinking it just might be to silly and over the top. Well it wasn't and I really enjoyed it!
**********
Sunday Adam and Tisten came over for a visit which was fun. We had saved a few Aurelio's pizzas to share with them and I also made some Garlic Knot Rolls. They came out really good. We had a fun visit and we played some Wii.
**********
Wanted to share with you that I did get a thank you note for one of the handkerchiefs I mailed to the mother's at Sandy Hook whose children had passed away. I was concerned about the School District passing them out to each parent but apparently they did and that made me happy.
**********
Wow it was cold the other night. I even put a sweater on Skye when I took her outside. Thursday morning we had frost on the top of the spa. It was supposed to be about 33 degrees which is pretty cold for us.
**********
Even though it's been cold we still have some Gerber Daisies blooming! I'm looking forward to Spring!
**********
Have a great weekend and don't forget to watch the Academy Awards on Sunday!

Enjoyed your Friday thoughts! How sweet about the note from the Sandy Hook mom - still breaks my heart. Enjoyed all your thoughts! Have a good Friday!
Ann and I was surprised and enjoyed Identity Thief too Debbie. The last third of it was pretty heartwarming.
I love all you little fragments - I think it is kind of a good way to give us a little glimpse into your life. I want to see Identity Thief. It looked funny. And Safe Haven. Have a good weekend - I will be watching the Oscars with you. Sandie
I so want to see Safe Haven! And it's in the 20s here. COLD!
How awesome that the school district passed out the handkerchiefs ... and what a blessing they had to have been to those parents. You are so sweet.
I'm bookmarking the Garlic Knot Rolls recipe, but I don't know if I'll ever make them ... fresh bread and garlic - I might eat them all! ha!
Good to know about that movie usually they are Rick movies and I just stare off and can't wait for them to be over.
That is so sweet they sent a thank you note. I'm so glad to hear they really did pass them out, they are so touching what you do!!
We've been having some crazy frost her too.
Ohhhh.. that sweet baby's face. Still just tears my heart up for those families
Gerber Daisies are my fav... I'm so clinging to the hope of Spring being near!
I want to go see Identity Thief so badly. I die just at previews!
I am looking forward to seeing Safe Haven, hopefully this weekend.
Those garlic knots sound really good...
That card..wow. How sweet of you to send them hankerchiefs.
If I had to name a single thing that was comforting to us when my brother was murdered it would have to be the kindness of absolute strangers:)
I will be watching Sunday, Red Carpet and all...
I want to see safe haven pretty badly. I am saving up my 'chick flick' points for that one ;-)
Garlic knots and Wii games, sounds like my kind of night!!
I am really glad that the parents of the children actually got the cards. I once asked hubby what happens to the care packages that go overseas. He assured me that they do indeed get handed out. People who pour their hearts out need to know the love is being received. That is wonderful!
Wow that is so nice of you to send some thing to the parents of Sandy Hook ....Such a tragedy and my heart still aches for them. I can't remember where you live but certainly some where warmer that you have flowers blooming....I'm jealous! Have a wonderful weekend!
I've got several things starting to bloom now and I'm thrilled. Bring on Spring!
I've read Safe Haven but not seen the movie, guess I better add it to the list!
Oh my goodness, the picture of that little girl has brought me unstuck. I still feel so devastated for those families.
How wonderful and thoughtful that you sent the parents handkerchiefs. Still breaks my heart.
How sweet to have gotten the thank you note, Debby; what a pretty little girl......
thanks for the movie reviews when you see them; it helps me choose what movies we might want to see down the line :)
betty
The thank you note fragment made me cry.
I've been wanting to see both those movies... So nice to get a thank you note... Have a great weekend
I think Identity Theft looks so funny but wondered if it was any good. I think I'll go see it now!

So sweet that you mailed Handkerchef's. You are a good soul!
Very thoughtful!
I'll definitely be watching Sunday. It's fun! Those garlic knot rolls sound really yummy!
I read Safe Haven and really liked it, so I probably will watch that movie eventually too.
Gerber Daisies are my FAVORITE flower! I plant them in my garden and I adore them! You just made me hungry. I think I need pizza. LOL
Garlic knot rolls, yum, yum!
Thinking I want to see Safe Haven. I love Nicholas Sparks.
Happy weekend!
Love you skiff of frost. Yep, 33 is pretty stinkin' cold for you and yet, around here 33 feels like spring is in the air!!
Those rolls look yummy! I'm not usually a fan of Nicholas Sparks but H and I watched The Lucky One last week and it was pretty good.
