I'm sharing some collage photos from my trip to Florida. I will hopefully write a post soon with my dad's actual party pictures. I will post all the large family pictures that we took. This trip was amazing and one of the best family reunions we will ever have. (click on photos to enlarge)
We actually flew Amber, Dylan, Adam and Tristen to Florida for the party. Skye and Charlie went to the kennel. So my father's entire family was there with him except my brother who couldn't make it. Adam and Tristen stayed from the 21st until the 27th which is when I flew home so they could spend extra time with grandpa. Amber & Dylan could only stay about 36 hours because of work and school. Mark was with us for five days.
Some photos from the pond by my dads place. That is a large turtle on land in the right top photo.
Some interesting tree stuff and I love the moss in the trees and of course a pine cone too!
So Amber and Dylan arrived at 6:00 am for the party that evening. These birds for some reason were at the door when they arrived. Dylan and Amber greeting grandpa!
Some family pool time.
Adam and Tristen sunning themselves.
Amber and Dylan, Amber with grandpa, me with my dad
and Adam and Mark cooling off!!!

A sneak peek at the party after the dinner for my dad's 90th. My sister's children made a poster board with photos. My children made a book with photos of them with him. The kids had fun playing cards with their second cousins! We also celebrated my great niece Amber's birthday. She turned 17 the next day!
On Sunday we ate at the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks and had the best Greek food around town. That was actually my second meal there on this trip. I ate there with my dad, sister and brother in law on Father's Day.
On Monday we took Adam and Tristen to see the Clearwater Beach. We had a wonderful lunch on the beach which they treated us to for our anniversary. Fun times.......
A few items that came home with me. That ricer belonged to my dad's mom. My dad wanted me to take home those two little bikes from Hallmark that I bought him years ago. Also I bought the praying Willow Tree girl at the Hallmark my sister works at. Then she bought Mark and I the Willow Tree with the bouquet of roses. No words needed for my pine cone.
Flowers I just received on Tuesday from Adam & Tristen
thanking me for their trip to Florida.....sweet!!!!
This will be my view for the next week.
We are on our way to Mammoth Lakes, CA today!
I don't believe I will be around for Wednesday Hodgepodge
:( but I may try to join in next Saturday when I get home!
We don't get any internet service at the cabin.
We barely get a phone signal.
We will be reading and playing scrabble each night.
Hiking and fishing during the day......
See you next week.....

I enjoyed seeing photos of your trip....It is so wonderful that you have this time with your Dad....I love the little trikes.....
What a lovely place for a vacation....I actually prefer a place without internet, although Honey Bear is just the opposite....I'd rather he didn't spend so much time online when we're traveling....I use my phone to check email but that is about it. Have fun.

Gosh you had a fantastic trip in Florida with your dad and family. Beautiful flowers. And that great trip to the cabin - and you didn't take me on any of them. I don't know what I liked better. I know your dad was sure happy that you came!

That cabin sounds awesome ... hard for me to imagine being without internet or even phone for a week. ;-) When we visited Rocky Mountain National Park, we could get internet but not cell coverage.
Looks like it was a huge success from start to finish!!! Love :)
