Head on over and join in!
Thank you Joyce for all your hard work.
1. What was your biggest worry five years ago? Is it still a worry?
I think it has always been my children, their health and happiness. Yes it is still a big worry for me but I also worry about our future as retirees and our countries stability.

What doesn't make me grouchy is the better questions! A trip always cheers me up (after the packing is done) and if you read my random you can see I have some fun things coming up.
3. In one word, how does it feel to be photographed?
I don't like getting my picture taken but I do love having family photos and let's face it, this is who I am!

I didn't have any influence on a life path. I always wanted to be a wife and mother. My father worked nights most of my life and my mother had emotional issues so there was really no direction.
Well I like my bacon crisp and of course a crisp apple!
I bought some salad scissors, double blades which are just awkward and hard to use.
I can't think of one in particular. I've enjoyed going to the apple orchards with the kids over the years. I do remember back in the day when they would burn leaves at the curb, that was always exciting.
So Mark is in the UK again only this time it's only for a short time. They wanted him there sooner but since we had my friend Kendra's daughters wedding on Saturday he didn't leave until Sunday and will be home on Thursday. In a few weeks he goes to Brazil for a week.
- So next week we are going to be in Las Vegas for a few nights....happy dance!
- In November we will be in Indio, CA at a Casino for a few nights, details to come.....happy dance!
- In December I get to join Mark again like I did last year for a week in Florida. I will be able to do two more of the Disney World parks, stay at the Gaylord Palms and also get to see my dad/family for 3 nights....happy dance!
Off to the wedding we go......

With your comment about getting the trees up it just reminds me how very close we are to Christmas and how behind I am in shopping.
We are planning a trip to Montana over Thanksgiving and we are so excited as we are meeting my brother and his wife. Now if the weather will just hold for us.
You do have a lot of fun trips coming up! That will definitely give you something to look forward to! Great picture of you and Mark! I, too, love family photos...it's just the process of getting them done. The girls and Chris are never really into it like I am. Have a wonderful day, Debby!
Fall sounds like it is going to be fun at your house. I am so with you on the photographs. I love crisp apples too. The picture of you and your husband is a great one. You are a good looking couple.
Gorgeous pic of you and hubby dressed for the wedding! You have some exciting things coming up... lucky you. I like the smell of burning leaves!
Great Picture!
HMMMM what makes me grouchy?....got it...having to go grocery shopping...on a Saturday...'nough said! LOL!

Wait, wait I have a better one...having to go BATHING suit shopping....on a saturday..LOL!

I don't love having my picture taken either. But you are beautiful. I love that last photo.
Did you say holidays? Yikes.
It is time isn't it.
sounds like you have a lot of happy dances waiting to happen. the odd thing today is almost all your answers are what i would say.. 1, 3, 4 and 5 i could have written myself. don't own any salad scissors though and no happy dances planned. as for grouch my list is long..children, hubby, lack of sleep being the top 3..
I get grouchy without sleep! And I don't like my photo taken either. I also worry about my kidlets -as you know. And I like the same kinds of crisps! sandie
you are a traveling fool! :)
Great picture of you and Mark before the wedding, Debby! I think you are wise to get into photos with the family, I know I need to be more diligent to do that. How fun to plan for the trip in December (which will be here before we know it :)
betty
Your salad scissors reminded me of another useless gadget I have. An electric knife.... clunky, awkward, and totally sentenced to the attic.
I've always wanted to go to an apple orchard, but have never been. Burning leaves always brings out the child in me! Makes me want to grab the hotdogs and marshmallows :)
Sounds like you have several fun trips ahead of you. Enjoy!
I'm so the same about family photos and photos of me :).
You are looking great going to that wedding. The diet is working great!!
Enjoy the wedding. We had two to attend last week and they were a blast!
I just had crisp bacon. Today should be national grouchy day.
Damn, I can't believe I missed National Grouch day!
That's fun to have the trips to look forward to.
I don't think I've been to an apple orchard, that would be fun to do as a family.
You have some fun trips coming up! Jealous that you get to do Disney at the holidays! I think you saw the Candlelight Processional last time you went. You need to go again. It never gets old!

Your upcoming calendar sounds fun. I like to have things (trips especially) to look forward to also. I'd love a week in Disney with my hubs and girls. I just don't see a way to fit it into our crazy calendar.
Great pic of you and hubby. A fun filled calendar.
Beautiful photo of you and your husband! You have so much fun planned. We'll be putting our tree up the week before Thanksgiving this year due to family coming. I have been listening to Christmas music a little bit here and there. I try to stop myself...it's just too hard sometimes! Have safe travels on your trips:)
So much to Happy dance about :) I love having travel plans, it just makes life that much sweeter!
oh apple crisp is my favorite! :D And i like to add a little scoop of ice cream on top! Hope you have a great rest of the week. Thanks for stopping by!
Happy to hear of all your exciting travel plans and looking forward to the photos.
Oh man.
I'm so sad I missed "National Grouch Day".
I could have really gotten into that!
