I ran over to Hallmark yesterday to take advantage of the Buy One Get One Free special that is going on with Christmas cards, gift wrap, stickers, tissue, ribbon, etc.! Yes I have enough supplies to last me the rest of my life but I never pass up a good sale and it is rare for them to have their individual Christmas cards on sale, you know the ones you buy for family members.........

Did you ever have one of those days when you get so involved on your computer reading posts and playing games that you end up showering around 1 pm, only to sit again at your computer with you bath wrap on when suddenly it is almost 5 pm, husband is out of town so you just put on clean pajama's.....I thought so!

I got myself a new point and shoot camera. I got an updated version of my Lumix from Costco and I love it. I was searching a few weeks ago online and saw it for $249. Monday I got an email flier so I went and looked and it was on sale for $199. I texted Mark in the UK just to ask if it was okay with him and it was.Well he said it was part of my Christmas present but I said a camera is no different than needing some new hedge clippers, every household needs one! Am I right or I'm I right?
My old one had a 12x zoom and the new one has a 20x zoom. It also has HD video and came with a 16 GB card, carrying case and of course the charging stuff. Also it has the same battery as my old one so now I have a backup one.
Yes I do love my Canon Rebel Big Girl Camera but when I travel, especially going to Disney World in December I find myself wanting to be free of carrying too much around the park with me. (especially because I will be alone) I get a lot of compliments on my pictures and some are from my Canon Rebel but the majority are taken with the Panasonic Lumix point and shoot!

So my Fast Metabolism Diet is going well. I've been on it for 8 weeks now and have lost 11 pounds. I wish the pounds would come off quicker but I know that this is a healthy way to lose weight. Also this is with basically no exercise at all. I am really enjoying all the healthy food I am eating. (No sugar, dairy or alcohol except for a special occasion).......
Isn't Friday night a special occasion?
Have a Wonderful Weekend

20x zoom...I am impressed. TEll me about the Metabolism Diet. Where did you find it?
congrats on the new camera! handy zoomer. :) and good for you on the steady weight loss!
I have a Canon Rebel too, but I still like my little point and shoot for certain things. Like waterparks or canoe trips. Don't want to risk taking the good camera! Your Lumix looks really nice though. I don't think I'd want to get it in the canoe either! ;-)
Yes, Friday is a special occasion and a camera and hedge clippers are in the same category gift wise : ) Enjoy!
In my opinion Friday is a special occasion :) WTG on the continued weight loss, Debby; I will have to check that diet out. Looks like a great camera! I do agree that having a camera is essential in a family to record events. Enjoy getting used to it :)
have a great weekend!
betty
A new camera is definitely on my list too...
LOL, I am writing this around noon in my pajamas! Like the lens on that Lumix. I have not heard of that brand before.
You need to pat yourself on the back...11 pounds is a lot!
Love the new camera I feel the same I take the small one with me place and the big one to special occasions.
Way to go on the diet! I wish I would have stuck with it longer. I'm sticky to eating healthy and keep up with my exercise. I know God has a plan and I'm just giving it to him right now. I was stressing too much.
A new camera is something I want too! I would love a new camera!
YES! Every house DOES need a camera... a good one too! I'll back you on that!
No.....dear husband......cameras do not count as Christmas gifts! :)
Good job on the diet!!! I'll have to check that out because my metabolism completely changed when my thyroid started having problems!
Have a great weekend! I hope to do a FF before long! The weeks just slip away and yes, I do find myself doing just what you're talking about with the computer!
My last camera was a Lumix; I loved it.
No dairy would be hard for me; I love my yogurt and my cheese! Congrats on your weight loss.
I love pajama days; had one last weekend, because the hubs was at the hunting camp.
Thanks for linking up! Have great weekend.
I'll have to check out that camera. I want to get another camera, and yes, every house needs one! I love those days when you can sit around all day in your PJs. And wasting a whole day on the computer is so easy. Have a great weekend. Congrats on the weight loss!
Loving the new little cam and sales are ALWAYS a great thing.
Ha! It is 1:01 in the afternoon at my house and I am still in pajamas!!
I am with you on the camera I like carrying one that is not so bulky. I hadn't heard much about the Luminex but it looks like a great deal you got!
Yay, for the new camera!
Wow.
11 pounds is fabulous!
