Trick or tricks here!

I just love the excitement in the kids when they see the large candy bars.
 Skye in her Halloween pajamas.....
I decided to put together a collage of photos of Miss Skye B dressed up. You can really see her color change over the years. She will be 5 in January. She really doesn't like being dressed up, she is definitely a tomboy and seems to like the PJ's the best. A girl after my own heart.....

Skye and Charlie taking an afternoon nap.....

My Christmas cactus has buds on it.....

My new Ninja Master Prep Professional
I've been wanting to get something better than our blender to make my smoothies in. Also wanted to be able to chop things that the blender couldn't handle, like chickpeas for hummus. Thought I wanted a bullet but didn't see a need for the small cups and really liked the Ninja's I've seen.

Actually Costco has a very nice Ninja on sale for $ which makes it $119. right now but I didn't think I needed something that big, although Mark told me to buy it. I also had $30. in Kohl's cash so decided to do some research. I saw this one and read almost all the reviews which sounded great for making smoothies, the other accessories are a bonus.

So I ran to Kohl's on Wednesday to take a look and I felt it was perfect for me. I also saw that they were giving 20% off purchases if you signed up for their credit card. So when I went up to the counter I asked the guy about the 20% off and he said 30%. I said no it says 20% and he said I give 30% off. So this $69.99 Ninja was mine for $30.32!
(I doubt we will ever use the credit card)

Amber and I went to see the new Carrie (IMDb) on Tuesday. I thought they did a really good job on the remake. Of course times today are way different then when the original Carrie was made in 1976. Of course they had cell phones and internet in this one!  I enjoyed it.....
"A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom."

Have a great weekend....Mark is flying to Brasil tomorrow,
please keep him in your prayers for safe travels.

That was a great deal on the Ninja, Debby. Enjoy using it! I didn't realize they had done a remake of Carrie; I'll have to see it since I did see the original one.

Skye looks adorable with her Halloween outfit plus the collage of the other outfits from years past. She has changed indeed in her coloring.

Yum on the candy!

How many trick or treaters did you have? We had two.

I was too scared to see Carrie the first time... I don't think I want to try it now! I'm such a chicken!

Such a cute little puppy! I may have to stop at the store today to see if they have the doggie costumes marked down to get one for next year. :) Have a great weekend!

Hope I do not have to turn in my man-card to say that I like those Halloween pjs! Also love those large candies Debby - where were you when I was trick or treating?

Also, let me know if this comes across as no-reply.

Have a great weekend!

I make bags up with the big candy bars and other stuff for our grandkids and the few little ones on our block. We live really close to a really bad area (bullets flying) so we usually get 100's of kids from that area on Halloween. I give them the tinier bars, sometimes a couple of them. I get frustrated but then I think if I was their mother I would want them to be safe too.
By the time I got home last night the teens were out:)
Skye is just adorable and looks just like my dog. My friends tiny puppy named Skye is getting really big. I'll post pics soon.
Have a great weekend!

Did you have enough trick or treat’ ers to give away all that candy. Cute little dog. I think I have my computer fixed after redoing it the third time.

And I don't go see scary movies!!
I love that candy - I sure come in your neighborhood.

My kids were so excited because they received about 6 full size candy bars. And some bags of chips and someone gave them each 2 quarters, which they thought were great. You're one of the "good" houses! I want to see the new Carrie movie too. The original was so good. Have fun with your Ninja!

we NEVER get trick or treaters where we live… so boring...

I love seeing more pictures of Skye! She has changed in color since she was a puppy. I was just looking back at some old posts in 2009, and I saw one of your comments. It's nice to have someone still blogging with me after all these years!

You gave out really good candy--I seldom see the large candy bars anymore. Thanks for the reminder to set our clocks back.

Maxine has always been a favorite of mine. She and I....we think alike.

And the candy dish. Whoa...if I were a kid, I'd be knocking on your door each and every year. Oh, and LOVE the Halloween PJs....cute, cute dog too. ;o)

First off, safe travels to Mark.
That is one cute pair of PJ's. My little dog hates to even wear his sweater when it is cold. lol
Sounds like a terrific deal on the Ninja, we could use one of those.

Have a great week!

I'm with Skye - PJs are the best!!! I've been wanting to see Carrie too and maybe will. We saw 12 Years a Slave this weekend which was quite wrenching, but excellent. Enjoy your Ninja! Ann
