my mind has always overpowered my heart... and i find i hard to tell the difference in heart and mind. i am cursed with the trait of weigh everything, pros and cons until i drive myself nuts.
I love the idea of choosing a word for the year. I may have to do this. Lovely scriptures too!

That is a very good word, Debby, and I like the scripture you listed here too. We need to listen to our hearts more indeed and sometimes take the time to ponder instead of act (which is often my problem). Should be interesting to reflect back at the end of 2014 how you did follow your heart this year!

Heart is a great word. I think I would want to pick health. I really want to get healthy this year!

Listening to our hearts was one of the main messages I shared when I worked in prisons and jails.
I have not picked out a word for this year but I am going to when I think about it. I like the word heart.

God has given me the word *JOY* for 2014. I'm not a joy-full person by nature, so it will be interesting to see how He works that out in my life!
