So long, farewell
Auf Weidersehen, goodbye
Auf Weidersehen, goodbye
For those of you in the deep freeze that is hitting so many areas I thought I would bring you the hope of Spring.
Rather than remove our tomato plant last Fall I told Mark to just cut it down. Well it has come back and we have two tomatoes!
The butterflies are out and about!
We are waiting for some much needed rain
but in the meantime we had
some very heavy fog on Thursday morning.....
I made the dogs some Sweet Potato chips....
They love them!
I had one of my photos from Paris put on a throw....
Because of the 50+ hours I have worked on my computer this week setting things up I've been neglecting my daily reading of blogs. You know how much that bothers me. On Facebook yesterday I said that I think I'm finally in control of Windows 8 but I won't hold my breath and it's a good thing I didn't because it took five hours before I could get it to recognize my printer and make it wireless.
I think I got all the kinks worked out! Now I have to shop and clean house for Super Bowl Sunday so if you could please give me a pass this week on reading your posts I would appreciate that and I will see you next week. (I didn't even get to the show this week....oh wait I did see Inside Llewyn Davis on Tuesday night with Mark.)

Have a great weekend, enjoy the

Super Bowl and bring on the commercials !!
P.S. Auf Wiedersehen is German for goodbye, literally meaning "until we meet again"......

I love your throw from Paris! And of course you get a pass from visiting blogs. :)
I've been having some trouble with spam on my blog, and you may have gotten a few emails as a reply to a comment you made on my blog. Just ignore them...I turned off email notifications for now and hopefully can figure out how to block them!
I have laughed until i have tears in my eyes, i am not laughing at you but this thing with windows 8 is just to much and the five hour printer has me howling... computers are so frustrating. i bet those chips are delish. we liked the sweet tater fries... i just came from a blog and the man was talking about the week he has had with his new laptop W8...this makes 4 bloggers going through W8 so i am thinking a W8 support group?
I'm with your dogs - I love sweet potato chips!
I eat sweet potatoes every day. If I run out of them, I am sad, haha!
oh, that throw is gorgeous! grand idea! sweet potato chips - how cool. :)
Love your personalized throw! Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
No worries about visiting my blog this week, Debby, I didn't post anything. Cute throw; good idea to put a picture of Paris on it!
Thick fog indeed! We had some of the same the other day.
Yep, can't wait for the commercials with the Super Bowl!
betty
Fresh tomatoes...how awesome! Love your throw with the Eiffel Tower on it.
Have a great weekend!! See you next week.
Well hooray for getting Windows 8 nailed down. I knew you could do it! :-)
Well thanks for sharing a comment over at A Few Clowns Short. Doing blog rounds is certainly time consuming. Windows 8 - oh I had a frustrating time helping my brother with it. I'm a Mac guy. Hey those sweet potato chips are for the dogs?? I love sweet potatoes and veggie type chips are great so I wouldn't be sharing that many with the dogs.
Hi Debby! I miss you, but enjoy your football weekend! I wonder who you are rooting for? My son lives in Seattle, and my sister lives in Colorado. Quite the split in my heart!
I'm glad you got your computer issues under control. Nothing is more frustrating than dealing with these inanimate objects!
Those chips did look pretty yummy...did you sneak a bite?
Happy Weekend!

Love the throw! Hope you enjoy the game!
I'm just saying, "NO" to spring. Because I know what comes after it. UGH.
I cannot wait for Spring! Warmth!
Those chips look tasty.
I will give you a free pass - get out of jail card this week!
How come you spring looks a whole lot nice and springlike then here?
Have fun at the game.

January has flown by....we are headed back to cold weather on Sunday for the next week....I'm looking forward to spring...too much YOYO winter here in Texas...
Good grief, that does look very Springy! I for one am glad to see January go.
January did fly by! Probably because of the crazy weather and just as many days out of school as we were in school. We can keep flying til spring in my opinion! Love the blanket with the Eiffel Tower on it!
I love the signs of spring! I love your throw too. Have fun watching the big game tomorrow!
My goodness Debby! You don't need a pass from anyone.
I come here for the sheer pleasure of your pictures and friendship. Sometimes I have the time to leave a comment and sometimes I can't.
But I always love coming over.
Isn't that what it is all about?
Hugs and enjoy the Super Bowl!
I am so looking forward to Spring Debby. Ann got sick (infection) and has been in the hospital since Friday. And the icy/snowy roads have just added to the stress of it all. :(
I am so jealous of your weather!! More shovelling of snow for us this weekend!
Now that throw! AMAZING! What a great way to remember your trip!
Hi Debby, Here is Colorado we don't plant or count it as spring until the middle of May. This year has been a tough winter-not sure if it is because we are moving and the thought of a shorter driveway to shovel it making ours look so very long. Love the photos! Can you tell me if you just cut up sweet potatoes and then dehydrate them or bake them. Hunter is such a beggar and constantly wants treats-so maybe these would be better.
Have a warm day! Right now it is 9 degrees here. Brrr.
Hugs, Noreen
I love the throw!! Such an amazing keepsake!!
The hills are a trifle greener but winter is still here; icy sleety stuff pouring from the sky and it's chilly. Not as frigid cold as last week, save me God!, but still chilly.
That throw is fabulous...what a Wonderful memento.
That is one of my favorite pics love you made it into a throw!
Man love me some sweet potato anything. I bet it's a real treat for the pups.
How wonderful! You've been so busy.
I could go for some of those sweet potato chips *wink*.
I long for spring.
Wishing you a lovely week.
xoxo
Debby,
It's always good to take your time to reorganize a bit before jumping into things month to month. Before you know it, it will be the end of the year already.
So glad you're back. I've missed you!
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
"Henceforth, all the days of the earth, seed [time] and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease", Genesis 8: 22.
Hi Debby,
I want to thank you for being a faithful follower...
Where do you live, out in California somewhere....tomatoes on the vine..I am jealous.
Canning isn't hard at all and I have bought vegetables at the farmers market to can in the past when we didn't grow any. I have used the freezer some but now I only have the one on top of my spare refrigerator and the one beside my kitchen fridge so I don't freeze anything other than Zucchini and bell pepper. I also can because of the danger of power outages. You can order a Ball Book of Canning from Amazon and Walmart sales jars but they have those at Amazon, also.
Thanks for answering my question.

That throw is awesome!! I know what you mean about the lack of rain. So dry.
