Wednesday Hodgepodge.....
1. What is something you'll never forget about the age you are right now?
How hard it is to suddenly accept the fact that you are now a senior citizen because truthfully in sneaks up on you when your not looking. I've said it before and I will say it again "One day you are 30 then suddenly you are 60 in the blink of an eye." No age ever in my life has hit me so hard!

2. What's a household chore you've never done? How have you managed that???
Can't think of anything that I would consider a chore in the house that I haven't done but I haven't worked on fixing anything electrical in the walls.
3. Does nature shape our personalities more than nurture? Explain?
I'm sure nature can influence our personalities, no doubt, but nurture when done well is the best!
4. Friday (February 28th) is 'Something on a Stick Day'...funny because Zoanna over at A Penchant for Pens recently sent me an idea for a question relating to this topic. What's your favorite food eaten on a stick?
Caramel Apple
5. Which of your five senses do you treasure most, and why?
That's a tough one but I am going to say my sight. The world is filled with so much beauty.
6. What's the best music, theatre, or sporting venue you've been to? What made it great?
All too different with amazing experiences. I do love going to the theater to see a play, have been to several live sporting events like football, baseball, hockey, polo, etc. and have also been to several amazing concerts so your not going to make me pick one!
7. It's the last week of the month...in five words or less bid adieu to your February.
Goodbye, I hardly saw you!
8. Insert your own random thought here.

Something on a stick? I would go for the old favourite: ice cream. Mmm
Ever google "Foods on a stick?" There are a lot of them, maybe that sould be a goal for us--- to eat all foods on a stick for a month! He he.
Happy Wednesday! I can't think of a chore I've never done...but I've only mowed the lawn a couple of times.
I love your random! That's what I need right now!!! haha
Happy Wednesday! Great answers I love caramel apples too! Have a wonderful day!
love your random thought.. ice cream is my on a stick. but years since i had one.. i bet we could lose weight if we only ate one something on a stick 3 times a day.. maybe i will start a new fad diet. wonder how many french fries i can get on one stick...
I know what you mean about getting older in the blink of an eye! All the sudden, there are things I can't do any more!
Love your "click the flip flops" graphic!!!
Hope you have an awesome day. I'm laughing about Sandra's comment and how many fries will fit on a stick!
Loved #8
Cute random thought! I do agree with you about how fast the time seems to go from 30 to 60; not quite there yet, but at 56 I'm sitting back and wondering where the heck my 30s and 40s went. Yum on the caramel apple; always reminds me of Halloween and fall festivals.
betty
Ohh, caramel apple is a good one. I forgot about them.
The chore answer was kind of hard because I think we all might have a different idea of what a chore is. To me there's daily chores and then there's maintenance.
I'm kind of having a hard time with turning 50 this year. Especially with still having small children. The mortality thing and wanting to see my kids become adults and if I'm lucky maybe see a grandchild. (But not too early.)
Enjoyed your answers. Have a fabulous day!
I agree with your answer to #1, whole-heartedly. Where did the time go???
Love your random thought, as well:)
I didn't even think about caramel or candy apples, but that would be my answer, too, if I could still eat them.
Picking a sense? Yep. That's tough. I love them all. And now I want a candy apple. :)
I love your cartoon! Thankfully I live at the beach - and had flip flops on for a few days last week. BUT, now it's chilly and rainy. I'm ready for warmth all the time! And, I agree with you about going from 30 to 60 in a flash! Time goes by so quickly sometimes… so it's important to enjoy each and every day! Hope yours is good today!
I'd be clicking away if that were true.
Oh how I miss my flip flops
Oh beach How I would love that!!!
laughed at the random. :) and 'something on a stick' is both caramel apple and corny dog - both i MUST have at the state fair. :)
I like a candy apple, but haven't had one in years. I'm afraid for my fillings, of which there are many : ) We have big snow potentially falling Sunday/Monday so no flip flops for quite a while yet. Enjoy your day!
Yes, I'd miss sight the most too.
And I'd love to be on the beach now.
Hi Debby, I loved today's questions. I would also love to be on a beach where the water is warm and inviting. Hope you have a delightful day!
Hugs,
Noreen
Oh, wouldn't that be great if we could get to the beach that easily?? :-)
would so love to be in flip flops today...we turned cold...but it will change to warm this weekend...then colder next week...awww this crazy winter...so ready for spring...
Yum, caramel apples! I enjoy the snow but do miss my flip flops :)
Oh, I'm with you for clicking flip flops together and so ready to be wearing them. We are having a serious cold front come through for the next week. Ugh!!!
Yes, age does have a way of slapping us in the face.
Happy rest of the week!
Ohhhh caramel apples, I didn't think of that! Yummy! Nice to visit you today.
Goodness how did I not think of caramel apples?! haha Loved the little card at the end!
Sorry I wasn't able to visit you yesterday...I wasn't feeling the greatest, then Abby and I both had dental appts. It's always something, it seems! Flip flops and the beach sound PERFECT to me right now!
I just turned 52 this week, so 60 is coming fast!
My favorites have been Les Miserables on stage (I'm going again in May, hooray!), as well as seeing Josh Groban and Michael Buble live in concert!
Just turned 61 - that wasn't as hard as 60 - so I guess you get used to it.
The longer I live the more I see that nature has a lot to do with the personality!
Love, sandie
Since I own a house by myself, I think it is safe to say there is NO chore I've never done. However, I quit ironing some years ago.
And yay! that February is on its way out!
