Mark and I went to see Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (IMDb) a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good. Of course Chris Pine isn't bad to look at and Kevin Costner isn't bad either! I love to go see love stories but I also love a good action movie.....

I went to see Tyler Perry's The Single Moms Club (IMDb) two weeks ago. Needed to get out of the house and his movies usually have a meaningful story behind them. I did enjoy this movie and all the ladies in the cast were great!
"When five struggling single moms put aside their differences to form a support group, they find inspiration and laughter in their new sisterhood, and help each other overcome the obstacles that stand in their way."
Mark came home early from his travels the other week so we headed out to show to see 3 Days to Kill (IMDb). This was a good movie. Of course there is a lot of killing going on but we did enjoy all the action! Kevin Costner was really good in this role.

Last Wednesday I went to see Disney's Muppets Most Wanted (IMDb) which was really a cute movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Besides the stars that are listed there were a lot of great cameos too.
"While on a grand world tour, The Muppets find themselves wrapped into an European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit the Frog look-alike and his dastardly sidekick."
I did a double feature that day and also saw God's Not Dead (IMDb). This movie was very good and I'm glad I went to see it.

You may remember that we don't go to the movies very often (we prefer to watch them on DVD), but we did go see God's Not Dead Saturday evening. I do want to see the Jack Ryan movie ... I hadn't heard about 3 Days to Kill. Our preference is a good (but not too violent) action movie.

Hi Debby! Just when I think we won't see much of Kevin Costner anymore, there he is again! I was hooked when I saw "Silverado"...a great movie with a wonderful cast; I also liked "Message in a Bottle", but not when he drowned at the end. But I've always been a fan of his.
I wouldn't mind seeing the one about single moms, since it's a life I now well!
I would love to see 3 days to kill and shadow recruit. those are my kind of movies...
i like action flicks and i'll try to catch these on hbo. :)
Kevin Costner seems to be getting some interesting acting roles these days! I did hear the Muppet movie was supposed to be cute. I always enjoy reading your review of movies, Debby; I do remember them for down the line when we rent a movie.

I am wanting to see the Tyler Perry movie. Have to get some girlfriends together to go see this one. We saw God's Not Dead this past week and I loved it.
I hope to see the Muppets soon, but it's not out yet over here.
It sounds like we have a similar taste in movies. I like my romantic stories, but a good action film is great as well. In fact, only last night I saw RED (with Bruce Willis). Loved it!

I have plans to see "God's Not Dead" on Thurs. Thinking of seeing "Noah" tomorrow...we'll see how the day goes. Glad you enjoyed them all. I was a little disappointed in the "Single Mom's Club"...thought it would be funnier and, that day, I needed a laugh! :-)
I've heard that God's Not Dead is pretty good. Sadly, I haven't heard of a couple of those movies...I'm soooo out of the loop!
I don't get out much but I so will make it to the Muppet's with the boys :).
I've been trying so hard for my women's group to go to see God's Not Dead. I hope I can get them all out soon, I can't wait to see it!

That movie God is not Dead - was one of the best movies ever - of course I am partial. I want to buy it when it comes out.
