Thank you Joyce.
1. It's fall. Y'all. My favorite season of the year! What's something you love to do this time of year that makes you feel it's officially fall? And unrelated to that, do you ever say-'y'all'?
Going to the apple groves always makes it feel like Fall to me. No I never say 'y'all.
2. When did you last have a falling out with someone? Has it been resolved?
2. When did you last have a falling out with someone? Has it been resolved?
This happens daily in our home and it is often resolved but that doesn't mean that long term damage isn't done.
3. A song you love with the word 'fall' in it's title?
I looked at a lot of lists and I didn't see any with 'fall' in the title that I loved. I have always like Tom Petty's "Free Falling" and Alicia Keys "Fallin'" is a pretty good song.
It's my house. I've been sick since August 22nd and things are not getting done!
5. When did you last attend an event, read a book, watch a movie, try a new recipe, or visit a shop-town-tourist attraction that fell short of your expectations? In what way?
I have nothing.....wait......maybe an Italian Beef place in Chicago that sucked!
6. Describe a time you said or thought, 'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
Well I know that but the question is do I want to admit it???
7. Was today better than yesterday? Why or why not?
Well I do this post on Tuesday so I am answering for yesterday. We had a retirement dinner out last night from Mark's office and it was wonderful!

8. Insert your own random thought here.
So I went to my Primary doctor last Monday and he put me on a diuretic. Lost 7 pounds in water before the reunion so everything felt looser. He didn't recommend that I go but as you know I did! Saw my cardiologist yesterday, still looking for answers as to why my breathing is labored.
I told him that I get relief with the nitroglycerin pill which he thought was strange because it shouldn't help my lungs. The tests that have been preformed show nothing wrong with my heart. So he is sending me on Friday for a angiogram which would include a angioplasty if needed. So please keep me in your prayers. Thank you......

Praying for you ... and that these tests will show the doctors what is going on so they can get your breathing back to normal.
Prayers for you and I hope the tests will enable the doc's to fix the problem. Pretty cool that your clothes fit looser for the reunion. ;) ;) Always gotta look for the positive. And yes, we say 'y'all! Southern bred and born, all the way! lol
So awful not knowing what is wrong! But I am happy you made it to the reunion, even if your doctor didn't recommend it. I bet you had a great time!
oh, definitely praying for you! the unknown stuff is so worrisome.
i do find myself saying y'all now and then. slips out and it feel funny to this northern-midwesterner by birth. :)
Hi Debby, I'm glad you went to the retirement dinner, anyway. Just getting away, even for a couple of hours, can do wonders. I will definitely keep you in my prayers so that all goes well Friday... :)
I'm so glad you got to the reunion Debby, but am sorry you're still not feeling well. I do hope you get some answers from the tests on Friday. Will be praying for you!
Praying for you as you undergo tests, and hoping you will find answers soon, and begin to feel better. ((hugs))
I'm glad you were able to make the reunion :)
So sorry your not feeling well. Sending lots of well wishes and sunny thoughts your way. Your answer to #6 made me smile...I can identify.
Blessings,
Valerie
Will pray Debby! I hope the test shows what is going on with your body so you can get some relief and start feeling better! I know what you mean about having falling outs that resolve, but the damage keeps building on the relationship. Maybe we'll go to Julian for their apple days this year; always fun to bring home freshly home grown apples!
betty
Praying for you Debby and that they'll figure out what is wrong and you'll be feeling better soon.
Saying a prayer for you. I hope you can get some answers.
praying for you now.. sorry to hear you are still not feeling well.. i have said a zillion times my son did not fall far from the apple tree, he is so like his dad it is like they used the same mold. the husbnad i divorced not Bob.
i am with you on 4.. but my housework fell by the wayside the moment i retired in 2006..
Will be praying for your test on Friday. Really praying that the doctors can find some answers.
Loved your hodgepodge.
As far as "fall by the wayside"? Yup - me, too - my house. However, I seem to get the spring cleaning bug in autumn, so things might actually get done around here. If I don't "fall down on the job!!"
GOD BLESS!
The reason I didn't put our falling out is because it isn't recent--it happen about 6 or so years ago and is not going to be resolved. Which is fine by me. Goodness with all these tests. Please keep us posted!
Tell me it isn't so - bad roast beef sandwich in Chicago? That is sacrilegious.
"When I Fall In Love" by Nat King Cole!
My daddy was born and raised in Texas, so he ALWAYS said y'all!
I'm sorry you've been having health problems. (((HUGS)))
I was born and raised in Texas and out here in West Texas, "ya'll" is
as normal as breathing to me.
Hoping doctors find your breathing problem and get it fixed right away.
Since I was born in Tennessee...Y'all is heard and said often in my family. Praying for answers from the Dr. And and easier breathing. Big hugs.
Oh, gosh, sick so long! :/ I hope the doctors find out what's up & you are feeling much better!
I am not a lover of Fall as most of it is nasty cold in KC. But I do like October. :)
I hope the angiogram provides some helpful information!
I say "y'all" all the time. Just did in a post today, as a matter of fact.
Free Fallin I love that song too!
LOL I've thought many times the apple from the tree :)
The party sounded like a fun time!
