Today Adam turns 36 years old. We had the pleasure of his company this weekend and celebrated his birthday on Sunday. Everyone gets a birthday dinner out at a restaurant of their choice but we stayed in because of the football playoffs.
Since he is in town this week working in his office at Cedars Sinai and not flying home until next Sunday we get to take him out to dinner next Saturday. We did however have an excellent meal at home. We made Filet Mignon, sauteed mushrooms, asparagus, baked potato, rolls and had picked up a small cake.
We had a great day and I can't wait to see him again next Saturday. As you can see he has grown some facial hair! Said it keeps his face warm now that he is living in Pittsburgh and experiencing the cold weather of Winter.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM
We love you so much.....
A shout out to my Mother-in-law who turned 87 yesterday, January 19th! We all got to talk with her on Sunday which I know she enjoyed, especially talking with Adam and Amber.
My Mom Dorothy would have turned 89 on January 14th. She has been gone for almost 33 years now. I still can't get over how quickly life goes by but I can't seem to come up with a solution to slow it down.
Received these beautiful flowers from Adam and Tristen last Friday. They were a "Thank You" for meeting up with their movers at their condo in Los Angeles. What a day!
Three hours in traffic, 5 hours on my feet at their condo and a 2 1/2 hour drive home. From the time I got up until the time I got home it was 12 hours, not to mention the argument with the mover who did not want to follow the condo association rules for moves! They didn't want to believe me so I had to have Tristen talk to them.

You must be on a cloud with all that! Happy birthday to Adam and your MIL. Let's see my mom has been gone 11 years this Jan. 30th - I still miss her.
Happy birthday to Handsome Adam.. i like the beard.. my mom has been gone for 25 years and that is like yesterday. glad you had a good dinner and another one coming...
no doubt, you were needed to facilitate that move! eek! love adam's facial hair! all my brothers wear thick beards (wisconsin and alaska) and several of my nephews, too. :)
Ahh - flowers always makes a day brighter.
Happy Birthday Adam! ... I want that cake...
HI, Loved getting caught up; when did our kids get so old??LOL.
My mom passed in 1975, on the 29th of this month-hard to believe she's been gone so long. I was just 21 so didn't really get to know her as an adult. Hope you have a great day and thanks for your prayers-I appreciate them.
Hugs, Noreen
Birthdays birthdays! I was just over at Penny's blogs & they are knee deep in birthdays too! I love it! AND I can't believe you made filet mignon! You are brave! Not too mention you must be an amazing cook! Sadly I did not get that bag of skills....but hey I try!
Love the flowers too! What a thoughtful way to thank you!
Have a fab day Deb!!!
Happy birthday happy birthday!
I don't blame him for adding a little facial fuzz to keep those winter winds at bay. Happy Birthday to your dear son!
Love the flowers. Glad you all had a good birthday...food sounds yummy.
Happy Birthday to all the celebrators... and a special hug for you! The flowers are gorgeous, and you definitely deserve them!
Happy birthday to Adam and to your mother in law, Debby! You are right, life goes by so fast; can't figure out a way to slow it down either. I am glad you have had a chance to see Adam and spend time with him, plus get another chance before he goes back to Pittsburgh. He does look good with a beard! Movers!! That was a nice thing though for Adam and Tristen to send you flowers; does seem like a heck of a day when the movers did come! Glad you were able to help them!
betty
Happy Birthday Adam! The dinner sounds so yummy!
Those flowers are so sweet, shows what great people they are! Raised right :)
What a pain about the movers, I sadly have not had the best luck when using companies. Usually younger kids who don't care is what I had :(
Belated happy birthday to Adam! (And beautiful alstroemeria!)
