We had a great time seeing Adam and Tristen last Sunday. These are precious moments that mean the world to me. They are something you don't actually learn until someone moves away. At times I feel very sorry for myself and then at other times I am thanking God for His precious gift.
We started our day by visiting Annenberg Space for Photography which was awesome. I really enjoyed our time there and the subject of Sink or Swim: Designing for a Sea Change that was displayed. This small museum is free and we watched an amazing video and the photos were breathtaking. If you have some time please visit the links.
Then we went out to eat at Westside Tavern which is a favorite of mine. I'm happy that Tristen picked it for her birthday dinner. The Sticky Toffee dessert is my very favorite!
Tristen will turn 32 on the 26th of March!
It was a day to remember always and I love them so much. Can't wait until we get to see them again!

The best days are always those shared with the ones you love.

Looks like a sweet time together. After reading your title, I just knew you had a grandbaby announcement to make. ;)
Debby, what a blessing!
I know it's always a joy to see Tristen & Adam!
The link to the `Sink or Swim` is interesting.
Thank you for sharing.
Have a great weekend!
Happy Birthday, Tristen!
That sounds like a really great day!
You are a mean one Miss Debby, by posting photos of those deserts! I am drooling all over my keyboard nowwww.
Sounds like a fantastic day! Those desserts look wonder...sinful!! :)
Glad you had such a wonderful day.
I know what you mean. We moved back from Alaska in 2001. My daughter is still up there, and teaches school. Even though we Face Time almost everyday, it's hard to be this far apart. Esp. when she has two little girls!
Family, good times, and good foods are the best of all worlds.
So glad that you got to spend time with Adam and Tristen! and those desserts look scrumptious!!!
Hi there, Such a special time together! That dessert looks incredible. Hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Hugs, Noreen
Glad you had a great visit. It's those sweet times that keep us going in between visits, isn't it?
so happy you had a great time. it is hard when you don't live close to those you love
Good Morning, Thanks for sharing the photos of your lovely visit. Happy Birthday to Tristen!
So glad you had a wonderful visit. While time together may be less frequent, it is possible to make lots of memories in the time you do have. I think we definitely gain a new appreciation for our children when they live far from 'home'.
I'm so glad you had a great visit with Adam and Tristen! I've learned that absence makes the heart grow fonder :)
So thrilled for you, Debby! It's very obvious how much you love and adore Adam and Tristen and I'm certain they feel the same about you.
Family can be such a joy. (Some families, anyway!)
