Mark and I went to see Mission Impossible Rouge Nation. The movie was very good and of course had a lot of non-stop action. Definitely worth seeing and Tom Cruise was great along with Simon Pegg who keeps you laughing.

I went to see Vacation with Ed Helms and Christina Applegate. This is not a remake, it is Rusty Griswold taking his kids on a Vaction like his dad did in National Lampoo's Vacation movie back in 1983. I had to go back and check the rating of that movie and was surprised to see it was R rated back them.
This one is R rated too. I have to say that I enjoyed it and expected it to be very silly which it was. What I didn't like is that their youngest son uses very foul language which just isn't appropriate for a boy his age let alone in front of your parents at any age!

Last Monday I went to see Ricki and the Flash with Meryl Streep. This movie was cute and I'm glad I went to see it. The only issue I had was that I just couldn't see her as a rock singer but most likely because I don't like rock music very much to begin with.
I was anxious to see it because I am a fan of her daughter in real life, Mamie Gummer, who plays her daughter in the movie. She is very talented.

I had hoped to see two other movies last week but didn't get around to it so hopefully I can see them this week.
Whatever you do this week make it a good one!

I was wondering about the Vacation. Thanks for clearing up the remake/sequel thing. Don't know whether I will get around to seeing any of them, since I start work again tomorrow.
I would love to see Rikki, I love Streep... it was a little odd that they cast her in it, but the trailers look like she did a great job.
I really want to see the Streep movie. I love Rick Springfield!!

I haven't seen "Rogue Nation", but I know Tom Cruise always sees lots of action in his movies. I haven't seen Ricki and the Flash either, but I can't picture Meryl Streep in that type of movie either.
No movies here, but I did watch an episode of the Waltons today while peeling apples to can ;-)
The only one of those movies I really want to see is Ricky and the Flash, too, although I can't quite see Meryl Streep as a rock singer, either! I like Mamie Gummer, too. Hasn't she been on The Good Wife? I'll have to click that link.
