~Wishing Everyone A Happy Thanksgiving~
~Wishing Everyone A Happy Thanksgiving~
1.What's something you wish you knew how to do, but feel like it's too late to learn?
2. Your least favorite thing to shop for? Why?
I guess that it would have to be clothes. They make so many loud and obnoxious patterns in clothes for fluffy people! Also they make so many sleeveless items. Unless your very young few fluffy people have nice upper arms.
3. How has the celebration of Thanksgiving today changed from when you were growing up?
We all live far away from each other today. Gatherings for Thanksgiving were awesome back then. Now this year we will not have Adam & Tristen over. I miss the good old days!!!
4. What's something that when other people see it, reminds them of you? Explain.
Maybe a giraffe and probably pizza.
Aurelio's Pizza North Las Vegas
(A Chicago Pizza Chain)
5. If you could guest star in a TV show, what would it be and why?
That's an interesting question. I love so many shows that I am not sure I could pick just one. I would love to be a talk show host because I love asking questions, the ones that everyone wants to know!!!
6. Have you ever farmed or spent any time on a farm? Are there farm stands in your little corner of the world and do you make it a point to shop there? If so, what item do you particularly like to buy from a roadside stand or farm shop?
I have never farmed. Did spend some time at a farm which Mark's grandparents owned but it wasn't being farmed. Great farm house with a barn and that is the reason I want to buy a farm someday! In some areas you will find a strawberry stand.
7. What's something you've experienced recently that made you feel a sense of awe or wonder?
I'm not sure. I did think it was amazing to see snow on the side of the road about 10 miles before we crossed the state line into Nevada. All these years of traveling to Las Vegas we have never ever seen snow on the road.
I guess the Bellagio Fountain was a sense of awe.....
8. Insert your own random thought here.

happy thanksgiving to you and many blessings to you and yours.
Learning a new language at a slightly advanced age is difficult I can tell you! And I speak from experience.
I would love to be on Strictly Come Dancing. I have seen some clods on there and feel I could do much better. I would want to lift the glitter ball at the end as well though, so probably a lot of hard work!
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving, even though you will not all be together.
Oh, the video was awesome! It was fun to learn more about you with these questions. I would love to learn sign language. Butterflies are usually associated with me.
I have sweet memories of family holidays, too. Since my parents passed away, it is just the two of us - everyone lives far apart and has new family traditions. That's ok, each moment together is special! Thanksgiving blessings to you.
Fluffy people. I love that description and it fits me to a tee. My mom always said she had put in an order for a size 8 body in heaven, but figured she'd be a fat fluffy angel instead. Haha
Happy Thanksgiving!
I grew tomatoes this summer - does that count?
Hi Debby! I always wanted to play the piano, but I feel the same way as you do about another language... too late, or I'm too lazy. I totally agree with #2. Why the giraffe? Happy thanksgiving!!
I'm like another who wrote in their comment that they would like to learn sign language. I am always fascinated to watch people who can sign and when people are signing worship songs at church, always makes me cry, its so beautiful.
Glad you got a chance to see the snow on your way to Las Vegas. You'll remember that now every time you drive that way!
At least Adam and Tristen will be there for Christmas, but I know you'll be missing them for Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
betty
Hello! I am your neighbor on the link-up. I like the word fluffy!! And I hate shopping for clothes too. Have a Happy Thanksgiving
what do i do now? i am already wearing my 'fat pants'.
me to on the clothes. which brings to me what i would answer to number 1.. i would be a fluffy person clothing designer and would use beautiful fabric and make things that look good on fluff... when i walk in a new store, i can find the fluffy person dept without signs, just look for the ugly clothing.
i did not live on a farm but daddy grew everything we ate, except sugar, flour, salt and spices and rice. we had a very large garden but not a farm.
What a wonderful aspiration you have there Debbi! I think I have missed the boat on a few things myself tho. I also remember the holidays with family and a lot of them are gone - so those are some of the things I miss. Happy thanksgiving! Sandie
I've never thought about being "fluffy", but that's a good way to put it :) After tomorrow, I'll be a little "fluffier", too...
When I think of you, I think of pine cones...or pizza.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Debby.
Kathy (from Reflections by Kathy)
Counseling people after a disaster is a worthy aspiration. Certainly not to late to start that, I would think. A wonderful idea.
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Debby.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
From my heart and home Thanksgiving blessings to you and yours.
Hugs,
Noreen
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
How about Hallmark Christmas ornaments? Thats something that makes me think of you : ) Have a happy Thanksgiving Debby!
Fluffy? Why, that cracks me up; now, watch me start to use that in my own speak!
Isn't it high time we treat ourselves more nicely? Just the other morn before putting on my blouse, I was leaning over the sink and caught sight of my saggy, wrinkly upper arms. Noooo ... when did THAT happen?
Love your answer about becoming a motivational speaker. That's a real gift.
I totally broke out my fat pants yesterday. I hope you get your farm one day!
wonderful answers
I think being a talk show host would be hard because there is so much pressure on you! I think I would like being on Gilmore Girls....I always wanted to visit a town like Stars Hollow.
LOL fat pants! I was so pleased with myself this Thanksgiving I did really well with my eating and with my black Friday shopping I got over 10 miles in walking :)
