Volume 258
Thank you Joyce for your dedication and hard work.
1. March is National Women's History Month. In that vein, who are three women who've been influential in your life? How so?
I'm only going to name one and that would be Princess Diana. I felt like I could relate to what she was going through personally in her life and I loved her determination to be a part of her children's lives along with showing them the real world.
2. In what ways do you think women have it easier than men?
Well if your a stay at home mother than you don't have to necessarily be out of the house all dressed up and be in an office all day. However I think they are both very demanding positions to hold!
3. What do you need most right now: faith, love, hope, or peace?
Love, but nothing is possible without Faith!
4. Do you have a collection? If so, what do you collect and why?
Well #1 is my collection of Christmas Ornaments which the majority of them are Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments. Why??....because I love Christmas.
Number 2 would be my collection of Willow Tree Figurines. I just love them along with #3 which are my Jim Shore Collectible pieces. I've also been collecting Nativities over the years.
5. Plaids, checks, polka dots, stripes...your favorite?
I'm not sure about this one as far as me wearing it but I do like a plaid shirt.
6. In what ways are you the same as your childhood self?
I still pout and want my own way....LOL!
7. You're a contestant on the TV game show Jeopardy. What category will you ace?
I'm not sure I would ace it but I'm going to pick the movie category.
8. Insert your own random thought here.

LOL with your random with the Breakfast Club, but so true these days. Love the technology of a cell phone and all we have, but there is something missing in how we communicate these days I fear.
Sounds like you have such wonderful collections!
betty
I've been known to throw out my bottom lip from time-to-time and pout...I'm a work in progress! I've seen photos of some of your Christmas collections and they are quite impressive! Hope your Wednesday is great, Debby!
Love your hodgepodge Debby. So agree with #3.
no women do not have it easier than men, because they have to LIVE with MEN... plus women do everything and work, men just work..
i have decided instead of TV being the worst thing ever for our country, cell phone now takes first place. i agree with you about Princess Di... and her bobys are carrying on in the ways she taught them.
Christmas ornaments sound like a great thing to collect!
I guess fro me I would have to say my mother. I liked Princess Diana for sure. Love for you peace for me. You have a beautiful Christmas Ornament Collection - love it. You would ACE a movie contest!!!
I love Christmas too. It's what makes me tolerate November and December and even extends to January 6th, in my book. :-) I have only one Willow Tree figurine which was given to me and I love it! So true about the Breakfast Club. I was talking with my son today about his teenage daughter and the problems parents now have with kids who are online in their bedrooms, away from parental monitoring. It's hard to have a conversation with some kids as they're even texting under the table while you're trying to converse with them!
Love your mention of Princess Diana! Heck, I still get misty-eyed imagining how she would have delighted being a part of William and Catherine's babes' lives.
A personal glimpse: When she was killed I walked around with blood-shot eyes for a week. Then, the troll with whom I was living had the gall to ask, "Why must you cry? You didn't know her."
All you need is love! :)
I have a willow tree angel that my sister in law gave me for being in her wedding :-)
lol, like your random thought.
Hi Debby,
I like what you wrote for #1!
And for #2! I am a mom of boys, so I can be protective of them. I do wonder if this world can be a bit hard on guys at times. Maybe it is just the mama bear in me.
I think you would ACE the movie category. :-))
Carla
I like plaid flannel, but mostly I prefer stripes. And my fiancé loves stripes so I have definitely added more striped clothing to my collection.
Love Love Love your answers. One day I would love to see your trees for real. sometimes your answers make me feel as if we are sisters by another mother.
ha ha ha - the quote is soooo true!
I've seen some of your Christmas collection here on your blog and it is quite impressive! Not having to be dressed and ready to go out first thing in the morning is a plus for sure. Funny comment about The Breakfast Club. That is one of my favorites.
OMG love love the Breakfast club meme!!!
