Last Tuesday evening Amber and I went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. This movie was so much fun, especially if you loved the first one! Same cast, same silly family traditions that made us fall in love with the first one. I will buy this one on DVD.

Next up was London Has Fallen which I went to see with Adam and Mark. We loved it. Non-stop action for sure. Of course with all that action comes a lot of shooting too! If you haven't seen the first one, Olympus Has Fallen you may want to watch it first but that certainly isn't necessary to enjoy this movie.

I do have one side note that I feel I need to voice. In watching MBFGW2 I was a little disturbed by the fact that way too many older female actresses end up doing so much to their faces in the hopes of continuing to look younger when it only makes them look plastic to me. I wish they would just grow old naturally as God intended.
I'm not saying that you can't take good care of your skin by buying excellent products that can help or get some facial treatments at a spa, maybe even a touch of Botox, but there is a point and time when you need to stop!
If all goes as planned I will be seeing two movie today.........

There is a new standard of not letting a face age naturally - that's for sure. The pressure society puts on women. UGH!
I LOVED the Greek Wedding 2! I have gone to see it twice already and plan to buy it as well!

I'm looking forward to Greek Wedding Two! Although, since I don't get to the movies often, I may wait until it comes out on DVD. The two action movies sound good too! Hope your week goes well!

Hi Debby, I always love your reviews. I wasn't a big fan of MBFGW, but a friend wants to take me to the sequel for my belated birthday-so we'll probably go. I haven't heard of the second movie at all; we usually just go to movies in the winter. I agree with you concerning plastic surgery; however a good facial periodically and good products can help our skin. Mine has been so old looking, but my cousin said I still look like I'm 45-he must be blind. LOL.

Thanks for the movie reviews, we may see those. Yes, it is sad that so many actresses and women in general have too many procedures done. Let's all celebrate our unique beauty and that of everyone. As the song says "God makes beautiful things, he made you."
So glad to hear y'all enjoyed BFG Wedding 2. My DH still swears that Windex cures all. (Or at least his cold sores. Lol)
Want to see both some day! They both sound interesting. I do agree, age gracefully; we kind of expect that; almost disappointed when someone takes "drastic" means to preserve their looks.

I'm with you on the plastic look. I can't stand it and I find it very disturbing.
I so wanted to see Greek 2 before Rick left for work. Hopefully when he gets back and I get back from Boston.
