On May 17th I went to the show with Adam. He had wanted to see Keanu because he is a fan of the two main characters. I have to say that these two guys are very entertaining and I laughed a lot!
"Friends hatch a plot to retrieve a stolen kitten by posing as drug dealers for a street gang."
Next up was The Meddler on May 20th with Susan Sarandon and Rose Bryne. This movie was really good.
I could relate to it having my own adult children and many of my readers could relate to it being the age of the daughter. Definitely worth watching.....
"An aging widow from New York City follows her daughter to Los Angeles in hopes of starting a new life after her husband passes away."
On Friday June 3rd I went to see Me Before You. This movie was so good. The female lead Emilia Clarke was new to me. Apparently she is in Game of Thrones.
She was delightful and of course Sam Claflin is so darn cute! He is from The Hunger Games. Sure there is sadness in this movie along with joy and it is definitely worth seeing.
"A girl in a small town forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralyzed man she's taking care of."
On Friday June 10th I went to see Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping with Adam. I am a fan of Andy Samberg and since I finished all my packing for my trip off we went.
No way any of you want to rush out and see this movie but I actually enjoyed it. It was a great Mockumentary. Yes it is rather harsh with the language but I found myself laughing out loud. Andy is very talented and funny!
"When it becomes clear that his solo album is a failure, a former boy band member does everything in his power to maintain his celebrity status."

I know you love movies! I used to go all the time but when we started having to take out a loan to go...LOL Thank goodness we have Netflix and Hulu. Now, if I could only remember the titles I want to see when they show up on those outlets. :)
just stopping by to say hello. (via sandra's). i'm a huge movie lover too!i haven't seen the movie "me before you" but i'm looking forward to seeing it this weekend.
have a great day!
enjoy your weekend~
I think I would enjoy The Meddlers :) I think with the heat here, we'll probably be taking in some movies at theaters this summer so I'll have this one on my list :)
betty
I read the book Me Before You and loved it so much I read the sequel a couple of days later!
I think the 2 actors for Me Before You were PERFECT!
Adam Sandberg is so funny! I hate they feel the need to make comedies so vulgar, but yeah, I end up laughing at most of them too
I read the book Me Before You. Yikes. The Meddler sounds good. Thanks.
I am waiting for the new Ghostbusters. I would love to see that one in the cinema instead of my small tv-screen.
i need to laugh so i'd like to see keanu. :)
I'll skip the one with the 'language'.
All the rest sound very good from your reviews.
I'm waiting patiently for August to go see the remake of Ben Hur!!
The Meddler sounds so good! (Reminds me of Tom's grown daughter and HER mother. LOL.)
I'd like to see Me Before You, but given Tom's medical issues, I think we'd better sit that one out.
I read an interesting review of Me Before You" by a wheelchair-bound quadriplegic. He took issue with the idea that the main male character was hampering the life of the female character and that it was the noble thing to do to kill himself. It was a really eye-opening perspective.
Thanks for the reviews. I would love to see some of these, too. I've never told you, but I LOVE your movie snacks icon! It reminds me of when I was a kid & that little ditty was sung before movies. And I used to love the newsreels! Do you remember those?
You always have the best movie reviews, now only if I can see maybe one ... lol
